Pretty good

The plot was creative and most of the book was really good. The last part dragged on and became less believable. The very end was a nod to strength of “women” and out of place with the rest of the book.

Whole book spent waiting to see if a child will die—while all neighbors “think” negative things about their own children and lives. Because I’d lost one of my two children, I couldn’t continue to listen but Audible would not refund. I had enjoyed “The Push.”

This book is amazing, an in depth look into what Paris had to endure. It is so clearly told by this young author who is trying to forgive the almost unforgivable. In trying to “save” their daughter her parents unknowingly paid vast amounts of money into a tough love system—horrible people who put Paris through experiences no person should have to endure. I admire Paris for her strength and courage and for being a hard worker, achieving her dreams now and in her future.
