Crime crossed with Coming of Age
Revisado: 07-16-21
I enjoyed the Narrators. One sounded like the actress Awkafina. I listened to the book at 1.5x speed and that was perfect.
The style of the book reminded me of authors Billie Letts and Wally Lamb.
Interesting read with a splash of autism, crime, self discovery, reinventing self, and humor.

Historia
Annie loves Duncan - or thinks she does. Duncan loves Annie, but then, all of a sudden, he doesn't. Duncan really loves Tucker Crowe, a reclusive Dylanish singer-songwriter who stopped making music 10 years ago. Annie stops loving Duncan, and starts getting her own life. In doing so, she initiates an e-mail correspondence with Tucker, and a connection is forged between two lonely people who are looking for more out of what they've got.

Interesting difference--book vs movie
Revisado: 06-10-19
I saw the movie Juliet, Naked last year and really liked it. Totally my kind of movie. The movie took the book and expanded the plot's ultimate conclusion. I like where the movie went and am equally satisfied with the book stopped. I super enjoyed the dual narration of a male and a female narrator. I love that Nick Hornby books always have a music theme of some sort.
