Horrible Narration!

What didn’t you like about Alexander Cendese’s performance?
Had I not been a huge fan of this author and his son's stories and writing style, Mr. Cendese's narration would have made me ask for a refund! When he sticks with staright narration, he is just as good as many but his character voices are badly flawed. Every female character speaks with a lisp and many of the male characters are indistinguishable. His narration reminded me of a poor impersonation of the great Mel Blanc doing Sylvester the Cat and Tweety Bird. "I thought I saw a puddy cat....I did...I did!"

Major Case of "Voice Fry" by Kelley Hazen!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would probably recommend this to a Jack Reacher fan but I would caution that it is by no means the equal of Lee Child's books.
Would you be willing to try another book from Diane Capri? Why or why not?
Possibly with another narrator...please Kelley, for the sake of your listeners please speak normally! You have a nice voice otherwise...
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Kelley Hazen and StorytellerProductions ?
I cannot tolerate a narrator with what the Voice Over professionals call "Voice Fry" which is the growling that comes from the back of the throat during a read. Unfortunately, this is becoming more common in commercial reads especially with younger female artists. Please stop casting these voices or ask them to speak normally! Another example of bad voice fry is Becca Battoe's read of Fifty Shades of Grey which made that book a bad listen too!
