Love, love, love the info, HATED the narration

I've been looking for this info for such a long time! So extremely helpful. I have been implementing the recommendations and already see a huge difference and feel so much better. Especially if you are a menopausal or post-menopausal athlete, read this! I hated the narration from the get go and hated it more with each chapter. I could barely listen until the end. I ended up purchasing a printed copy because of this and also because I found it was really needed to go back to certain sections (which I now have highlighted) and to easily access the recipes and exercises.

Such a different approach to storytelling-lovely!

I listen to many books and very rarely write reviews but felt I needed to for this book. I just adored it. The telling of the story by a deceased community member from the cemetery was so creative and I loved Mark Bramhall's narration. Having the deceased chime in every now and then with their comments about the current predicaments of the characters along with their birth and death dates always made me chuckle. I also loved that Annie Hartnett dealt with such serious subject matters in a way that allowed the reader to not minimize them but to still chuckle and to find appreciation and the good that still exists in spite of their presence. Highly recommend.

My sleep issues are new; probably the last 3 months or so. My doc was quick to put me on medication after supplements didn't work but even the sleeping pills weren't always working and I didn't like the idea of taking something all the time. This book reinforced that medication wasn't a great answer and allowed me to relax about my sleep and sleep quality and I am already sleeping much better.
