I’ve listened to this audible 4 times and it doesn’t leave you not wanting there to be a movie. The action, the family, the loyalty, the love and enormous respect for doing the right thing is awesome. And the narrator(s) creates an atmosphere that makes you believe you are apart of their lives. Thank you. You are quite a writer.

The book kept me so engrossed. It was as I was in the journey with Naomi. It was a bit unnerving to realize this is fiction but also reality. PS, the narrator is awesome, her voice is serene. She reminded me of the same narrator in “the Liar”. The book kept me on edge, I couldn’t wait until they caught the killer, and for Naomi to tell Zander she loved him. Again simply Awesome. I want more.

It kept your attention, and tugged at your heart. I’ve listened to this book twice and each time it’s better than the last. A must read or listen is better,

Detective Harry Bosch has retired from the LAPD, but his half-brother, defense attorney Mickey Haller, needs his help. The murder rap against his client seems ironclad, but Mickey is sure it's a setup. Though it goes against all his instincts, Bosch takes the case. Would you consider the audio edition of The Crossing to be better than the print version?
The narrator is simply awesome, the plot, everything that Michael writes should become either a BOSCH series or go to the big screen. This is one of his best if not his best. A must keep in my library. Thanks Michael and please, please keep Titus. He adds life to your words. WOW!

Betty Jean already has her hands full when her grown daughter leaves her two young sons in her care. In between dealing with her other adult children, two opinionated sisters, an ill husband, and her own postponed dreams - BJ still manages to hold down a job delivering room service at a hotel. Her son Dexter is about to be paroled from prison; Quentin, the family success, can’t be bothered to lend a hand; and taking care of two lively grandsons is the last thing BJ thinks she needs. But who asked her?

Where does Who Asked You? rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I have listened to this book 3 times. Everytime the characters keep me in stitches. This book reminds me sooo much of many of my friends lives. Felica Rashad, and Terry McMillan, is hilarious and makes the character so life like. This book, has something for everyone, you cry, you laugh, you say some unchristen like things, and much more. It is well worth listening to. I'm soo glad I purhcased the audible instead of reading the book. But then, "Who Asked you" (laughing) Enjoy
What did you like best about this story?
The fact that BJ (Betty Jean) got another chance at happiness for herself, despite all the challenges she faced. The fact that Omar finally got self confidence and became a man and told his mother he was gay, and I laughed so hard, I nearly got in trouble at work, but I'm glad she found out the way she did. Justice, for her being soo overprotective with her child, and thinking she was all that. Life knocks you down, but love and prayer together overcomes everything, when you activate faith not fear. And even though BJ was not into church, she definitely had faith. We all need it.
What does the narrators bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Emotions, emotions, that took my imagination there ini the story. I found myself looking through the window, of each of their lives.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
Got cha, and who asked you anyway
Any additional comments?
Everyone should go out and purhcase it today. The rating is very close to beating my 5 star rating for 'Waiting to Exhale". Terry knocked this one out of the park. I hope a film, is on the horizon. It'll be well received.

Motivational and Inspiring
Revisado: 02-14-12
Where does I Got This rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
At the top of my motivational and inspriation audiobooks, and believe me I have a few that I listen to when I'm feeling down and uninspired.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Jennifer of course. I did not realize the strength of her faith and tenacity. By some she may have seemed bull headed, but to me she was very determined and strong in her faith, she new God had a plan that would change her life and give her all the things she deserved. Also, her trainer when she joined Weight Watchers. You always need a positive force when you are embarking on a life change. Without this positive reinforcement she would have made it, but not as fast and not without backsliding. You go girl. You definitely had this.
Which scene was your favorite?
When asked on the Red Carpet about being a big girl. I'm probably not saying it correctly, but her response was on point. Not the way I would have handled it, but then that why she is Jennifer and I'm me.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
How she dealt with the disappointments and the terrible loss of her family.
Any additional comments?
Look at her now. As she says, I Got This, and so can we.
