We played our parts so well that the lines between us began to blur until they disappeared completely. The thing about pretending, though, is that someone's always better at it, and by the time I realized my mistake, there was no going back.

Okay but... this was SOOO good! I actually switched off between listening via audible and on my kindle, that’s how I know I’m reading something good! Great story telling, everything was so believable and I easily fell in love with the characters. This is the first book where I actually loved how the author talks about the main characters girl friends and doesn’t have them referred as “my girls.” They all had such fun and REAL personalities. Highly recommend!

My second reread

I read the After series the first time around and fell in love with it. I decided to give the audiobooks a try to immerse myself back into the After world awhile later and I have to say that the narration is fantastic! The last chapter narration by Hero was on point and great bonus with this listen.

I just want to say this was probably one of the best book narrations I’ve yet to experience. The narrators were on point with all the emphasizing the emotions. The story line was well written and flowed. Overall this was a great listen, I picked this one at random as I’d never read anything by this author and was not disappointed!
