Really good advice
Revisado: 10-24-20
The breaking down by Clear of habit formation was incredibly helpful, it restructured a lot of how I think of planning/habits.

Amazing
Revisado: 08-07-19
I love Cat Sebastian’s work, but I was still worried about this book because a lot of historical lesbian fiction I have read has been disappointing. However, this book was amazing it was sweet, funny and heartwarming. I loved the characters and would read a thousand more books featuring Alice and Molly.

Historia
Stranger Here is the brutally honest, surprisingly hilarious story of one woman's journey from one extreme of the weight spectrum to the other, and of the unexpected emotional chaos it created. Insightful and unsparing in her self-examination, Larsen depicts the exhilarating highs and devastating lows she experienced as a result of her weight loss, the incredible joy of finally beginning to look like the image of herself she's always carried inside her head, and the crushing pain and confusion of feeling like a stranger in her own body after losing the weight that has always defined her.

Touching on difficult issues, with funny bits
Revisado: 08-02-17
I really liked this book, it was able to capture the feelings and complexities of what it means to be fat in society and what it means to lose weight when being fat was a part of your identity both of which are complex issues that the author portrays well.

Historia
When the Egyptian journalist Mona Eltahawy published an article in Foreign Policy in 2012 titled "Why Do They Hate Us?," it provoked a firestorm of controversy. The response it generated, with more than 4000 posts on the website, broke all records for the magazine, prompted dozens of follow-up interviews on radio and television, and made it clear that misogyny in the Arab world is an explosive issue, one that engages and often enrages the public.

Heart breaking, but vitally important to creating change in our culture. I wanted more which is the only reason for a 4 star.

Any additional comments?
First Agatha Christie novel I've listened to, I though it being a mystery it would be incredibly hard to follow, but it wasn't at all and it was very well performed.

Taking Body Love to a Different Level
Revisado: 03-11-16
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes, I have actually recommended it. Especially to my friends (who like me) are in recovery.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The second chapter particularly hit a nerve, actually living your life now and not waiting for some particular event to start living.
