Historia
During World War Two British Bomber Command crews suffered terrifying casualty rates. There was a forty-four percent fatality rate. My grandfather, Donald Stemp, flew amongst all those brave young men that gave their lives so we could live the life we now have. This short story is a small segment of my imagination of what he might have experienced.

Great short story
Revisado: 11-27-23
This was a great short story about the greatest generation. I liked the camaraderie of the crew. I think it would be excellent as part of a collection of similar groups of soldier’s interactions. A reminder of the human elements of war and history. Thank you for creating this, Kevin.

Historia
Many famed music producers are known for a particular sound that has its day. Rick Rubin is known for something else: creating a space where artists of all different genres and traditions can home in on who they really are and what they really offer. He has made a practice of helping people transcend their self-imposed expectations in order to reconnect with a state of innocence from which the surprising becomes inevitable. Over the years, he has learned that being an artist isn’t about your specific output, it’s about your relationship to the world.

Wonderful Philosophy
Revisado: 06-06-23
About a year ago, I decided to stop suppressing the creative urges I’ve had since childhood. I feel that I was lead to believe I had to be “productive” and do something “real” thus higher education and a long career in healthcare. I decided to take a sabbatical from my career and took up writing and music. Along the way, I’ve kept a journal. It’s eerie how Rick Rubin’s philosophy parallels the things I’ve written. It reinforces my desire and helps me feel I’m on the right track. Thank you for creating this, Rick.

Great listen, definitely recommend.
Revisado: 01-27-23
I was unfamiliar with Burchard’s previous works. Some of the negative reviews suggest this is all repeated material from similar self development books, and while this may be true in a sense - this presentation really resonated with me in a way other books did not. I plan to re-listen and find a hard copy to start doing the work. Thank you for creating this Mr. Burchard

Historia
What does it really mean to be a grown-up in today's world? We assume that once we "get it together" with the right job, marry the right person, have children, and buy a home, all is settled and well. But adulthood presents varying levels of growth and is rarely the respite of stability we expected. Turbulent emotional shifts can take place anywhere between the ages of 35 and 70 when we question the choices we've made, realize our limitations, and feel stuck - commonly known as the "midlife crisis".

Incredibly insightful.
Revisado: 12-04-22
If you are beginning your journey of self discovery, have acknowledged the presence of your shadow, yearn to find your soul’s true path; then I highly recommend this book. It will not answer your questions and likely will lead you to many many more, but will begin to provide insights you will need to continue, and in the end - hopefully - find peace
