Historia
A note from the author: With Full House, Charlotte Hughes and I teamed up to create an exciting new series. Now we bring you the second audiobook, Full Tilt, filled with even more fast-paced action, crazy characters, steamy sex, suspense, and nonstop hilarity. While these audios are not set in the world of Stephanie Plum, we're convinced they will bring you all the fun, wisecracks, and the adventure that we love.

Entertaining
Revisado: 02-23-15
Would you listen to Full Tilt again? Why?
Yes. A lot of action and multiple characters to keep up with.
What did you like best about this story?
I like the unusual characters who still manage loyal friendships.
What about Lorelei King’s performance did you like?
Once again multiple characters with voices unique to each one.
If you could rename Full Tilt, what would you call it?
Full Circus.
Any additional comments?
No this is not Stephanie Plum. Anyone who expects that will be disappointed but not if they listen to the story. I read for entertainment not deep philosophical material. I found this book just that...entertaining. I am surprised that anyone would be upset this is not a Plum redo. I sure don't expect all Nora Roberts books to be Eve Dallas. Janet Evanovich is a talented writer not a one hit wonder. If you don't try this series you have lost that chance to be entertained by a great storyteller.

The story flowed in such a way I "couldn't put it down"
What other book might you compare Never Less Than a Lady to and why?
This book was a reminder of the older Putney books I enjoyed so much. Might have to buy them again!
Which character – as performed by Simon Prebble – was your favorite?
Randall. He was strong without arrogance. Sensitive without weakness.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
The reaction of Julia's brother to her after years of separation brought tears to my eyes.

Commercials?
Revisado: 02-23-13
What disappointed you about The Sound of Broken Glass?
I cannot finish this book. I have read all the others. I can't seem to get the characters in my mind so every time I hear a name I have to pause to think who that is. Maybe some books just need to be read. The greatest aggravation is the "commercials" for the websites. Every time the narrator mentions a certain place he then rattles off the website associated with it. Every time! If this is going to be the new trend in audible books then I have a vast library of my own to keep me busy. I won't be buying more. I would not mind them mentioned at the end of the book but not through out, repeatedly. Others may not mind the interruption of the story flow but I do.
Has The Sound of Broken Glass turned you off from other books in this genre?
No
What about Gerard Doyle’s performance did you like?
It does not add or subtract from the story
What character would you cut from The Sound of Broken Glass?
I just couldn't get involved enough in the book to care.
Any additional comments?
So disappointing for a series that I have enjoyed until now.

Historia
When the most eligible Earl of Rule offers for the hand of the beauty of the Winwood family, he has no notion of the distress he causes his intended. For Miss Lizzie Winwood is promised to the excellent, but impoverished, Mr Edward Heron. Disaster can only be averted by the delightful impetuosity of her youngest sister, Horatia, who conceives her own, distinctly original plans . . .

Will Not Disappoint.
Revisado: 01-21-13
Would you listen to The Convenient Marriage again? Why?
I now have all the Georgette Heyer audible books. I have listened to all of them many times. Somehow they are always fresh and fun. This one had a slower start than most, but by the end I was laughing out loud. I had been reluctant to buy the book due to other reviews. If there is any missing part I could not find it. I don't own the printed version so I cannot compare. I had been afraid of being left hanging if 22 minutes were missing; I was not. The narrator was not one of my favorites, but I thought she did a pretty good job. A main character who stutters must have been difficult to perform consistently, and the sniveling man part's voice was a little high, but he wore a hat with pink roses on it to a card game so it fit! I continue to beg Audible to put more Georgette Heyer books in their library. I have a lot of them on my kindle and most would be a good listen.
What did you like best about this story?
The earl. Always a step ahead of the farce and that's saying alot.
What three words best describe Caroline Hunt’s performance?
consistant
good
believable
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
the earl's attitude throughout. If only!
Any additional comments?
No regrets using a credit on this one. Eagerly await any future Georgette Heyer additions to the Audible Library.

So Very Good
Revisado: 08-31-12
What made the experience of listening to The Proposal the most enjoyable?
The story flows and the "villians" find no footholds.
What was one of the most memorable moments of The Proposal?
I hate book reviews that give away the good stuff. My review is meant only to encourage new listerners to spend a credit for a good book.
Which character – as performed by Rebecca De Leeuw – was your favorite?
I liked Constance. She could have been a brat but wasn't.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
When a person "let's go" of an old hurt I feel it too. There are several in this book.
Any additional comments?
I read Mary Balogh many years ago and thought I didn't like her writing. I have listened to all but one of her audible books and enjoyed everyone and look forward to future series additions. I would listen to the last one but have a hard time spending a credit for a 4 hour book. My fault not Ms. Balogh's.

Revisado: 08-23-12
Would you try another book from Julia Quinn and/or Rosalyn Landor?
I have read all Julia Quinn's books. I have heard Rosalyn Landor many times. I will use my credits for them.
If you’ve listened to books by Julia Quinn before, how does this one compare?
This is my first listen but I believe this book is a bit below Quinn's normally excellent standard. Whether a book is read or heard the story must carry the "reader" from start to finish. This one had very good moments. When you laugh out loud or tear up the book has you involved. That makes it a good book worth the price. No one can expect an author to hit a home run everytime and getting to second is nothing to be ashamed of.
Which character – as performed by Rosalyn Landor – was your favorite?
Each character lived up to their part of the story. The good were good and the bad were bad!
Was Ten Things I Love About You worth the listening time?
Definitely.
Any additional comments?
There are authors you read once. Then there are authors you follow and anticipate any new offering. Quinn is one to follow.

Revisado: 07-08-12
Would you consider the audio edition of Thief of Shadows to be better than the print version?
Didn't read the print version. Why would buy the same book twice?
What other book might you compare Thief of Shadows to and why?
Any series that keeps you wanting more. The kind of story that ends with each book but leaves a thread to be followed to the next.
Which character ??? as performed by Ashford MacNab ??? was your favorite?
Winter. I guess I like the strong silent type. Not much to say but.....
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
"Just who is Winter Makepeace?"
Any additional comments?
Just when you sigh and think there can't be another...the bait. Can't wait for the bite!

No Ending!
Revisado: 06-13-12
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I like books in a series when characters evolve and interact but this series is just not worth the time. There is no resolution to any situation and one book morphs into the next. I noticed that this book was written in 2009 and Ms. Bonds has just added a mini book on ebooks but still does not finish it. I believe this is good for her sales but not for the reader. Three years and stil no resolution is not a good way to treat your fan readers. I will not read or listen to another of her books until this series ends. I wish I had not wasted my credits on this series and hope this is not a trend for authors to continue. Eve Dallas always gets her man (both criminal and Roark) at the end of each book. Shame on Ms. Bonds for being the same -----tease that Carlotta seems to be.

the best of the four
Revisado: 04-16-12
If you could sum up Midnight Pleasures with a Scoundrel in three words, what would they be?
a total surprise
What did you like best about this story?
I laughed, I cried, I gasped and I clapped out loud at the twist and turns in this book.
Which scene was your favorite?
I can think of none that saying would not lessen the pleasure for future readers.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
First I thought it would be average at best. What a surprise. I wanted to rate this one highest of the four. So I wil. This one rates 6 stars.
