Great story and Better Narration

This is of course a great story by Stephen King.

All his stories are great. What makes this audible version awesome is the narration. Seth Numrich goes above and beyond what is expected.

With Seth Numrich each character has its own inflection. If my grandfather or grandmother were to read me a story it would be just like this.

I like the book and I like the narrator. What was a little annoying was the editing. There were very long pauses and I could hear background noise at times.

The book kept my attention and the little annoyances did not affect much more than this review.

This Isn't Just an Listen, It's an Experience

I've got a quite extensive Audible library. It consists of a few good series also. This series however is by far the best. I started listening because I like the Time Travel genre. But now this series and in particular this book speak to me in a much different and deeper way.

All of the books for sure have a lesson inside. But this one especially so. Maybe it's has to do with where it finds me in life. Give this a listen to or a read if that's your thing. Maybe it will impact you like it did me.

The narration of this book was absolutely spot on. Bravo!

Not astounding but still a good read.

if you're looking for a time travel book this just touches on that subject. I've listened to a lot of time travel books and always enjoyed them. I would put this more in the realm of Science Fiction.

Awesome Narrator

Informative, funny, and Evidently DANGEROUS

The book is basically a recap on how we got where he is and why he got there. He's sometimes crude but the book is informative. I had heard of gamergate but now I know what it is.

What a Insightful Book for Everyone

I actually returned this book before buying it again on the suggestion of several top 10 best gay books lists.

I originally returned it after the second chapter or so. It kept referring to "the gay man this and the gay man that" . I wasn't always that man and assumed wrongly that was the book. It picks up rather quickly so keep in it.

It gives insight into how you may have gotten to where you are. I could see myself and others I know described in this book. It ends with different ways to work on finding peace. I highly recommend this book.

Not What I Expected

I found myself powering through to the end hoping to get "to the good parts" . It never happened.

This book isn't as much about time travel as it's about how a small army unit would survive in the stone age. If you're looking for detailed step-by-step instructions on how to build a forge or hot tub you'll find this useful.

The narration is slow, very slow. I set the speed at 1.5 and it was tolerable.

Great listen. One of the great books of WWII.

I've listened to many books about flyers in World War II this is one of the best. Give it a listen.
