I am so grateful to have had this book recommended to me. it is the perfect blend of pirates of the Caribbean, treasure Island, and HP Lovecraft that I didn't know I needed in my life.
The narrator is flawless. his character voices are wonderful and immersive.

Investing in, owning, and using Super Heroes and Super Villains, Felix built up an empire: an organization by the name of Legion.

I'm done with this series

I have really enjoyed the series until this book. In the past, it has always been a great story with some awkward spiciness mixed in. This book absolutely throws that out the window. It feels like this book was written by horny teenager, and it completely ruins the experience for me.
As much as I love these characters. I don't think I'll be back.

A Great Story Tainted by Bad Audio Mixing

The book itself is great. It has good writing with satisfying character arcs, taking place in an interesting setting.
However.... the Graphic Audio format almost made me quit listening numerous times.
The book has background audio intended to make the experience more engaging. When done lightly, this is great. In this instance, the mixing was terrible. Background noise such as horses, screaming troops, explosions, etc were too loud and too distracting. Sometimes the background noise was louder than the narrator, and I had to go back multiple times to hear what was being said. Additionally, chapters that were intended to end in suspenseful cliff hangers had the surprise given away by the "Graphic Audio".
Overall, I think that you should skip the Graphic Audio version and stick with the standard audiobook.

The author and narrator were excellent. The music however was distracting at times. I would recommend purchasing the version without background tracks.
