I have always been impressed with Nikki Haley. I have always liked the way she carried herself with the media. when she speaks she is direct and sincere, and does not quote the party line. Listening to her read her story, I have new respect for her and what she has accomplished for this country. she is entitled to a quiet life as a civilian. Hower, if she ever did decide to run for a national office I would "have her back"

good read for some uncommon common sense

this was a good read. many of the topics are common sense that you do not realize until you hear them. putting cookies in the pantry out of sight and placing apples on the counter..who knew!!
I have to admit it took me a while to listen to the entire book. I was easily distracted. I guess that is a habit I will have to work on. i am sure i will re-listen to this book many times in the near future as well as add the website to my favorites.

a book for the Soccer fanatic

a good listen if you are a fan of soccer and follow it at an international level. the book unravels in detail just how corrupt those in the highest ranks of FIFA and other governing bodies had gotten. We will probably never rid international soccer of corruption. where there is money to be made their are people who want to exploit it.

Paul Allen was a visionary

I live in Seattle we knew Paul Allen owned the Seahawks and Blazer and was Co-founder of Microsoft. however after listening to this book I believe Mr Allen was an extraordinary visionary. More so than Bill Gates and Steve Jobs. he just did it without the spotlight. I believe after listening to this book you will agree.

interesting and insightful

The fact that Mr. Clapper tells the tales and stories of his 55 years of service and delves deep into the "Russian medeling" in the election gives you the feeling of sitting in a fireside room and listening to an old friend. I am a right leaning kind of guy and I find Mr. Clapper very compelling. I am also from a long line of military family commitment and I too believe James when he says we are going to be OK.

The business of soccer

for those who love the game this an interesting listen. for those who are interested in the business of the game it is a must listen. Ever wonder how that Nigerian or Senegal player ended up on your MLS team or your favorite EPL club? chances are they started on a muddy patch of a dirt and grass field playing in Sandals rather than $400 shoes. it is a long way from backstreet soccer clubs in Africa to the million dollar endorsements in the west.

A good listen if you are a Clancy fan

I have read all of Clancy' s books. this one falls into the average range. a good story but it lacked the frantic pace on multiple fronts that Tom Clancy had become famous for. The wrap up including tying everything together took half a chapter, almost as if trying to hit a page count instead of drawing to a climax. Again, a good listen, but if you want your heart pounding read one of the earlier novels.
