My 9 year old and I listened to this book on a short road trip and it kept us both interested and laughing. The vocabulary words are age appropriate. Such a fun find!

I decided to start this book while unpacking my move from the midwest to the south... I finished this audio book in 2 days and unpacked the whole 1st floor. What a great story, except I'd really like to know Bod's real (whole) name. There should be a second book!!!

There's too much metaphor on the story line. The fantasy confuses the storyline into a kind of parallel story. Overall decent book but wouldn't recommend it to someone with low attention span.

Entertaining but lacking.

The readers were ok but the story lines lacked real suspense. This book was similar to Goosebumps and should probably be grouped with the young teens section.
