if you've just finished book 7 of Dungeon Crawler Caaaarl (that kills people, Caaaarl) and want something else with that irreverent mix of humor and horror, buddy you found it. Steve Campbell does a fantastic job, and you can tell hearing him read it that he thoroughly enjoyed this one. I'm pretty sure you will too.

if you've made it to book 5 there's nothing I can tell you that you don't already know. Somehow these books just keep getting better and better. Matt has that weird thing that Stephen King has, where you don't know whether he's a genius or a psychopath, but you know you're willing to stay long enough to figure it out. We'll see this through together, I guess.

I never thought I would have issues keeping up with a writer, but here we are.
Seriously fun cultivation series. It hits all those comfortable cultivation needs but pushes the boundaries in interesting ways while adding and almost Tower element to his progression. I'm thoroughly enjoying this series and look forward to reading the next 24 books. (Hint hint.)

I'm going to be honest, I legitimately wish I hadn't read this right now because all I want is more. I'm so glad someone finally made a card litRPG post-apocalyptic, haha. That's a very specific combination, I know, but someone finally did it. Keep up the great work!
this is a fantastic book with great characters and a diverse and complex cast. The the overarching world is very well created, and I enjoyed the timey wimey. I will be eagerly awaiting more of Jake's adventures.

The flying and science shows obsessive research without droning on about the info. It's a great balance of old school sci-fi mixed with Star Wars-punk 2077, lol.
