Historia
Welcome to the age of behavioral addiction - an age in which half of the American population is addicted to at least one behavior. We obsess over our emails, Instagram likes, and Facebook feeds; we binge on TV episodes and YouTube videos; we work longer hours each year; and we spend an average of three hours each day using our smartphones. Half of us would rather suffer a broken bone than a broken phone, and Millennial kids spend so much time in front of screens that they struggle to interact with real, live humans.

DO NOT LET ANYONES COMMENTS STOP YOU FROM READING
Revisado: 03-08-21
I started reading this book to get insights on how come I have addictive behaviors like shopping, over eating , drinking, running I love to run, gambling , sex and the list goes on and on. I am into marketing, so I wanted to find out what turns "you on". what are your triggers. At the end of this book he talks about Parkinson's . I had an uncle who recently passed away who had Parkinson's and I saw his behavior. what this guy reports in this book made me think. I never thought I had Parkinson's before BUT I have symptoms that I can't ignore! So I have to give this book five stars cause any book that makes me of something that is life changing, is a five star book in my book. You have addictions and he talks about scientists who found out that we need addictions as human beings to evolve so I say that you have addictions and I ain't joking around start to notice 'em.

I am 70 and I am finally learning about INTIMACY!
Revisado: 12-14-20
The title of this book got my attention and I started listening to it. I am learning so much about things that my parents or school didn't teach me and I am blown away. The author breakdown the processes that can/will affect your intimacy. As an older person, I am experiencing things with my wife, and this book is a rare understandable resource in helping us overcome and enjoy each other again. We tried it the other night and I was able to communicate, we are in communication together now about the topic of intimacy. I highly recommend UNFUCKING books by Faith Harper.

Historia
All endeavors are going to fall short of your hopes until you understand your biggest enemy: your ego. Most people have no idea that the ego is actually a massive collection of self-sabotaging programming with a goal of keeping everything basically the same. And the ego is brilliant at what it does. Sid Walker presents a formula for bringing any vision into reality by focusing more on your intuitive instincts and less on the conventional wisdom created by the ego.

watch your EGO react to this book
Revisado: 09-21-19
I found Sidney because I need to make money, and the way I would like to make money is by selling technology products and services. I have a background in IBM main frames and computers. So that being said I noticed NOTHING F...ing happening. Why, because I am afraid to pick up the phone and call anyone! That's where Sidney comes in. I did a "google search" on a term I heard a long time ago "call reluctance". I found a book on Audible called "how I conquered, Call Reluctance, Fear of self promotion & increased my prospecting!" Exactly what I was looking for. I bought the book, and I was blown away by it.
Sid mentions that he did Landmark Education training and I still do Landmark seminars, so I resonate with him on more than one level. My wife and I both love the book.
Then, One day I was driving and my phone rings and it was Sidney Walker. (I signed up for his newsletter on his website and gave him my number) Talk about overcoming call reluctance! It was like my favorite celebrity called me. I was in shock. We talked and told me he would send me a signed copy of his book, and told me about "Living in the ZONE". I got it on Audible, and today a signed copy of LIVING IN THE ZONE arrived in the mail. This book changed my life . I have been inquiring about why I am so fearful about everything. This book boils it down and explains it excellently. Sid invented acronym that is easy to remember that allows me to be present and recognize the egocentric life killing choices I am making in every area of my life.
I am now distinguishing other EGO driven people making EGO decisions too. This book is a must read in my opinion. It's short and sweet, and very powerful.
Thank You, Sidney Walker for the gift and inspiring book that is allowing me to see the context that I created in my life that is causing me so much fear. I love you!

AWESOME..well written packed and stuffed with GOLD
Revisado: 05-19-18
This was the best BOOK I purchased on AUDIBLE. It changed my life, my wife's life and everyone I talk to. WHY? Because it contains the SECRET to life. HOW TO recognize and change a HABIT. As an example, he talks about PG...(Proctor and Gamble) they had a toothpaste called "Pepsodent Toothpaste" back in the olden days in the 50's no one NEEDED or USED toothpaste...and you do not need it today either. The Marketing of P&G was so effective in changing the HABITS of the USA that Pepsodent sales went off the charts, P&G made BILLIONS of dollars, and you think you need toothpaste. The power of CHANGING a HABIT. its easy. 3 steps. 1. TRIGGER 2. ROUTINE 3. REWARD we all run on this formula.

Purchased on Sunday, listened to it ASAP - YES
Revisado: 04-25-17
Where does Success and Happiness rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
I am amazed, but this is a really great book. It's in the top 10
What did you like best about this story?
He delivers distinctions of SUCCESS and HAPPINESS and examples that I can not get out of my mind. IE his friend with n o hands who is a tennis pro. NO HANDS did not stop this guy from achieving his dream. Andrew makes it clear that the power is in struggles we all deal with. I only read this yesterday and I am uncovering struggles I gave up on. Like learning spanish. Making a lot of money.
Which scene was your favorite?
I loved a lot of scenes. One scene was "BARRY the barracuda". It's about self imposed limitations. Of course I knew ALL about this already, but after hearing about Barry, I can see how many limitations I created for myself.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?
hardship and struggles are keys to success and happiness
Any additional comments?
I think I will listen to this book over and over, this guy has magic.

AMAZING BOOK - made me realize that I am CAUSE
Revisado: 08-03-11
This book sat in my account for 6 months. I did not like the NAME Chet, so I never listened to it.
When I finally listened to part of it, it gave me TOUGH coaching on what a looser I've been being regarding sales. My sales are low, and it is because of my attitude. Chet Holmes, is someone I would like to meet because I am sure he makes a differnce in the lives of everyone he meets.
I highly recommend this book. Chet Holmes please call me, I would love the opportunity to talk to you!

WOW! This book was great!
Revisado: 12-20-09
First I need to get this off my chest. I read almost every Dean Koontz book and some were not that great, like Sole Survivor, but Frankenstien has tickled my fantasy bone. I loved the other 2 frankenstien's and I was not going to get this book because someone wrote a neg review and he was articulate, and I believed him. Well, I didn't get it, and finally I said "what the hell" and I changed my mind and got it anyway. It was extremely entertaining and I really needed entertainment.
The person who gave this work of art a neg is totally wrong. I loved the ending, and the garbage dump crew and erica 4. and what about jacko? I loved this book and I highly recommend it if you want some great koontz fun.
