The best audiobook I have ever heard, narrated in the most fantastic way. I generally dislike love stories, but I bought this book because of the author. It certainly is a love story, but a very extraordinary one. It is psychological and takes place in a historical environment. It is also in some ways very modern and takes up issues such as gender equality and class differences. Made my brain and imagination spin. I LOVE this book and recommend it warmly - hope you will love it too.

From the best-selling author of Cry Baby, the beginning of a brilliant and gripping police procedural series set in Liverpool, perfect for fans of Peter James and Mark Billingham. A woman at home in Liverpool is disturbed by a persistent tapping at her back door. She's disturbed to discover the culprit is a raven and tries to shoo it away. Which is when the killer strikes. DS Nathan Cody, still bearing the scars of an undercover mission that went horrifyingly wrong, is put on the case.

A real thriller and superb narrator
Revisado: 11-17-16
What did you love best about A Tapping at My Door?
I loved the story. It was a real thriller. But I also loved the psychological analysis of the people in the book and their relations. The narrator was just fantastic!
Who was your favorite character and why?
They were all so different from each others, and the narrator made such a good job of describing them and acting as them.
What about Jonathan Keeble’s performance did you like?
Everything! He is a real actor. Marvelous!
