My First Dive into a Classic
Revisado: 01-26-23
I had attempted to read Sherlock Holmes sometime before but was confused because I read short stories and not the first novel, a Study in Scarlett. This audiobook compilation was just what I was looking for!!

One of my favorite series!
Revisado: 11-10-22
I love the way the author engineers his action plots, it is genius! I have listened and read this book many times and to realize what he includes, and doesn't include really shows how well he sets up the climax. Paris is my favorite character, and I feel sometimes he is overlooked and written one - sided. I would be ok if all the books in the series were written from his perspective! I know that the only way this series would work is if all characters were shown so that's just me. The performance is great the narrator dies a great job with accents. my only critique is that in this book (unlike the others in the series thus far) sometimes a sentence pauses randomly for, like, one second and if it is in the middle if a joke for example or when the villain confesses their evil plan it makes me a little bit confused, lol.

An AHMAZING Plot!
Revisado: 10-06-22
The author does a great job of mixing character development and emotions with a SPOT - ON plot. It was a great addition to the series, I love all the random facts about the culture of the multiple countries the city spies go to, it really made me feel like I was there. I thought Brooklyn's struggle with her studies was bit thought - provoking. I like a character with room for growth and it definitely made her a more rounded character to see that even UBER intelligent teenage spies have their flaws. One thing I could do without was the Sydney/Brooklyn drama. As a person with 2 sisters whom I share a room with, sister relationships can get prettyyyyy intense, but it seems like their relationship always is going through some drama, and I just don't think it was nessicary. It is mentioned pretty often that they are close, I just don't see it alot. It looks like the next book will focus on Kat a bit more, I am really excited!! Kat it sooo underrated!!

How do landmark Supreme Court decisions affect our lives? What does the 2nd Amendment really say? Why does the Senate have so much power? Civics 101 is the podcast about how our democracy works…or is supposed to work, anyway.

My Fav Podcast!!!
Revisado: 08-22-22
It is hard to wait every week for a new episode! Fun to listen to, and on my favorite subject - american democracy. I appreciate how you guys break it down, even people who aren't nerds like me will be interested. My favorite episode is probably the first treason trial in the U.S. it really seems to include alot of founding fathers in a weird way... hope there are more federal case episodes to come. I appreciate the effort you guys put into educating.

My Favorite in the Series!
Revisado: 07-26-22
10 out of 10! Great narration, great story with great, relatable characters. For teens but cleaner than any other YA novel I've read. I love how the plot mirrors the books they discuss in the Mother - Daughter book club, I really want to take a peek at Jean Webster's books! She sounds like a really cool lady.

She's just a New York City girl living with her artist mom. News flash: Dad is prince of Genovia. (So that's why a limo always meets her at the airport!) Downer: Dad can't have any more kids. (So no heir to the throne.) Shock of the century: Like it or not, Mia is prime princess material.

Would Reccomend to Any Teen (Not Just Girls)
Revisado: 07-26-22
I am about halfway through the series, listening on and off. this book is definitely a classic! I used to watch the movies all the time when I was littler and still love them today. Anne Hathaway was perfect for the movie and her narration was great here.
Grandmere is such a character and I think she is so much better in the books. The series is just fun and my advice is to just not take the plot too seriously. Princess diaries isn't great literature but anyone can relate to Princess Mia's insecurities. I am rooting for her! My favorite character is Tina. She is such a loyal friend.
Sometime's I have to take a break from this book because I think it can be a bit repetitive and I'm just looking for something a little bit deeper. I would recommend for any teenager looking for a light read you can relate to.

The book club is about to get a makeover. Even if Megan would rather be at the mall, Cassidy is late for hockey practice, Emma's already read every book in existence, and Jess is missing her mother too much to care, the new book club is scheduled to meet every month. But what begins as a mom-imposed ritual of reading Little Women soon helps four unlikely friends navigate the drama of middle school.

A Mood - lifting Comfort Read
Revisado: 07-24-22
I first listened to this series during Quarantine, on long walks with my dad. It was amazing to grow up with these girls through out the series. At a time when I couldn't see friends and family, they were my best friends. I wasn't to impressed with the negative body image language used around Colliope Chadwick, I didn't really think that was necessary in describing her character.
The narration was AMAZING. I loved how they switched perspectives to each of the girls, and in turn changed voices.
I would recommend this book to any teenage girl my age who wants an escape real life to four (eventually) tight - knit besties, their mothers, and of course some top knotch classics. Enjoy!

Helped Me Cope With Covid
Revisado: 06-28-22
I listened to this book over Quarantine and it really helped me relate to this character, she is so brave! I think she is forced to grow and become more mature because of her extreme circumstances. This book provided hope to me in a dark time. I know some people were annoyed with the style of writing that the author uses, but I thought it fit perfectly in the story. Great narration!

An important story... just didn't grab me
Revisado: 06-28-22
This book was a delight and the narrator was really good! For me, it was a good book to have on the background but the plot didn't grab me. I think it is because I tend to read fantasy, so might be just me.
