Jamais ficarei enjoado com esta história! É simples, linda, e feita com muita cuida e dedicação. Andy Serkis é legal de mais e um ator de voz fantástico! Vale a pena escutar de novo só por ele!

I'll never get tired of this book! It's simple, beautiful, and made with much care and dedication. Andy Serkis is awesome and a fantastic voice actor! It's worth listening to the story again just for him!

This is not about a failed experiment in Communism, or not just that. It's about any system of organization that raises one group above another, any government that professes more loyalty to an individual person than to ideals of love and respect. We may read it and weep to see the ways in which we turn so quickly from such ideals to greed and lying. Let us be careful, eh?

The best movies adapt the right stuff

I saw Studio Ghibli's masterpiece before I read this, and I was honestly afraid that the book wouldn't measure up. Lo and behold, the things that made the movie so special were equally present in the book. The colorful, somewhat unexplored setting, the delightfully meandering feel of the plot, the practical magical realism, and the nuanced relationships between lovable characters made for a book every bit as good as the movie promised it would be. It is astounding to me that such art could be preserved across mediums. Not all details need be preserved in cinematic escapades, but the ideas, themes, and atmosphere can, if incorporated, make for the most loyal of interpretations.

Written Anti-Depressants

The book is about wholesome little things, happy ones and good, but viewed through a magnifying and self-aware lense that sets them up to world-changing in every right. Lucy Maud Montgomery is a woman of intelligence, of intense wisdom that shines through her tales of everyday life like the sun through the trees down Lovers' Lane or onto the Dryad's Bubble. Just read it, you'll see what I mean. It's something to please, and something to grow by.

Rainn Does Real Good

Friggin' amazing. Hilarious, heart-warming, heart-wrenching, spiritually enriching. Well worth the time. It's always a pleasure when the author performs the audio book, but the fact that it's Rainn Wilson makes it that much better.

It is an honest representation of a part life that we'd all be worse off forgetting. We need these books, and books like them. They tell us the truth, what it is we can't live without hearing. Don't turn away because of the harshness of it.

Determined and Bad

Having read this book, I know that Cardone will continue to write in this way no matter how bad of a review I give it. The fact of the matter is that he is an excellent businessman, and for that I commend him. He is also a terrible, terrible writer. Nothing in this book makes any logical sense. It is poorly written, and anxiety inducing if so much as a page of ill-thought advice is taken seriously. I read this only as a requirement for work. I will fully admit my bias: I hate sales. That being said, I also study English and logic, and can safely say that both the English and the logic of Cardone's text are unintelligible and self-contradictory.
