Historia
Charlie Reade looks like a regular high school kid, great at baseball and football, a decent student. But he carries a heavy load. His mom was killed in a horrific accident when he was seven, and grief drove his dad to drink. Charlie learned how to take care of himself—and his dad. When Charlie is seventeen, he meets a dog named Radar and her aging master, Howard Bowditch, a recluse in a big house at the top of a big hill, with a locked shed in the backyard. Sometimes strange sounds emerge from that shed.

I miss them already
Revisado: 09-26-22
Just finished the book and I had to listen to the last couple chapters again because I already miss the gang so much: Charlie, Radar, Claudia, Dora and the rest.
Such a good story. Fantastic narration. I love the non horror side of Steven King, Just love it.
If you're into horror- this is not for you but if you love just a good other worldly story- by all means, you're in for a treat!

Really fun
Revisado: 01-20-18
Would you consider the audio edition of Ready Player One to be better than the print version?
Not sure, it was played out really well
Any additional comments?
This book was really fun. Seemed like it was directed towards teens and Millennials but I was able to enjoy it nonetheless. I identified more with the character of Jim Holiday having grown up in the 80s myself, I was able to follow and imagine the world that was created. Dread it, I certainly hope we are not going there. All and all, fun book.

Absolutely loved it
Revisado: 01-16-18
Would you consider the audio edition of The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye to be better than the print version?
Not necessarily, it's different
What other book might you compare The Girl Who Takes an Eye for an Eye to and why?
The previous books of the millennium series, this one is a thriller and really surprising at the end. I liked that it wasn't as graphically violent as the other ones
What does Simon Vance bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
the pronunciation of the Swedish names, I'd have no idea otherwise
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Both. Especially I liked how kick-ass Lisbeth is!
