Historia
With faith and testimony under increasing attack, parents can often be left wondering what they can do to help their children remain faithfully on the covenant path. Come as You Are by Samuel Norton, looks at some of the cultural aspects of membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and questions if those aspects of our lives are helping connect our youth and young adults to the Source of Redeeming Love.

Come as you are, and allow Christ to work on you
Revisado: 04-17-24
Refreshing take on grace and not-so-radical inclusivity that seems fully in line with the teaching parables of Jesus of Nazareth. The book has given me some new things to think about in order to re-engage with what it means to push my own comfortable boundaries and be a more actively accepting and loving Christian man.
Thank you, Faith Matters Foundation, for interviewing the Norton’s and introducing me to this book.

Seemed Genuine
Revisado: 01-22-24
Seemed genuine on the importance of validation, several practical examples. Being listened to, and heard is one of the greatest human needs. This is a quick summary of the available literature, no too deep, a quick read or listen over a weekend or a road trip.

Historia
This definitive audio collection, read by Stacy Keach, traces the development and maturation of Hemingway's distinct and revolutionary storytelling style - from the plain bald language of his first story to his mastery of seamless prose that contained a spare, eloquent pathos, as well as a sense of expansive solitude. These stories showcase the singular talent of a master, the most important American writer of the 20th century.

Historia
For most of the last hundred years, Biloxi was known for its beaches, resorts, and seafood industry. But it had a darker side. It was also notorious for corruption and vice, everything from gambling, prostitution, bootleg liquor, and drugs to contract killings. The vice was controlled by small cabal of mobsters, many of them rumored to be members of the Dixie Mafia.
