Not As Steamy As I’d Hoped

My first foray into gay M/M vampire stories. I was hoping it would have been much more steamier. But, in a 36+ hour series there was hardly any sex, and the sex that WAS in the books was very lack luster in my opinion.
John Solo was a great narrator. I love his voice.

Neither the three stories were HEA; more like HFN. I also grow tired of a lot of these modern gay romance novels acting as condom Nazi’s. We live now in a world where there is either U=U or PrEP or rapid testing.
Kenneth Obi is a GREAT narrator and is one of my favorites.

A Second Chance

I thought this was a beautiful story. Everybody deserves a second chance. The relationship growth between Scotty and Griff was so enjoyable. I’m a huge Iggy Toma fan and thought he did a fantastic narration of Scotty. Both narrators were great.
I would love to see a book 2 and continue the series.

This is probably the best “slow burn” book I’ve listened to so far. The narration was excellent, the story telling was beautiful.
One thing is (and maybe I just missed it) but there should be a couple of trigger warnings in the book’s description.

I’ve seen this in a couple of other Audible titles. I don’t understand why authors write scenes where they use soap as lubrication. Do they not know how much that BURNS in real life?
Otherwise, this book was a great story and the narration was very good. I enjoyed all six books.

I listened to the first book of Jeremy and Preston. It was really good — intense, too. However, book 2 with Paul and Brandon was just amazing. The way Andi Jackson painted the deep true love between the two of them was absolutely First Class. I loved it. Teddy Hamilton and Iggy Toma are so great together.
