Historia
For more than a century, Maggie Montgomery has hidden her true nature from the humans around her. But when Lieutenant Sean Canady follows a trail of blood from a drained corpse to the door of her New Orleans boutique, the ethereal beauty realizes the comfortable life she’s made for herself is once again in danger.... Despite her fears that her secrets are no longer safe, it’s the past that could ultimately be Maggie’s undoing. Sean Canady, a Civil War hero, was the love of her life.

mediocre
Revisado: 02-03-25
This was not my favorite book of Heather Graham. it progressed very slowly, the plot was predictable. I hoped it would be the introduction of a great series, however I will skip the others.

Historia
Midnight in Savannah... It’s a city of beauty, history…hauntings. And one of the most haunted places in Savannah is a tavern called The Dragonslayer, built in the 1750s. The current owner, Gus Anderson, is a descendant of the original innkeeper and his pirate brother, Blue. Gus summons his granddaughter, Abigail, home from Virginia, where she’s studying at the FBI Academy. When she arrives, she’s devastated to find him dead. Murdered. But Abby soon learns that Gus isn’t the only one to meet a brutal and untimely end; there’ve been at least two other victims.

Decent story, mediocre narration
Revisado: 09-13-21
I figured out "who done it" way before the end. There were some spots that would drag, but not a bad book. I usually enjoy Luke Daniels however his "southern accents" in this one were bordering on annoying. (Example: "sityeation" for situation...a bit overdone for the character.), even if he was from Virginia)

Historia
Playing the victim of a vampire king on an island off New Orleans is actress Avalon Morgan's creepiest role to date. It's also scary good fun—until the victim of a real killer is discovered on set, laid out for all to see. With production shut down, Avalon can't stop thinking about the chilling crime scene, or Grayson Avery, the investigator working the case. With a rising body count and zero leads, Gray can't help but be impressed by Avalon's amateur sleuthing, which takes her to the darkest corners of the internet, where killers confess their crimes.

An OK novel but not her best
Revisado: 08-17-21
Story was going well, was a bit choppy in places however the ending seemed rushed. No great build up to the ending

Twelve years after the grisly murder of her parents, Kaitlyn Delaney has finally found peace. She has friends, a good job, a place to call home and a new life to live. But then a shadow creeps in from Katie's past, reminding her that she will never completely escape its terrifying grip. When private investigator Dan Oliver is called to the scene of a gruesome crime in New Orleans, he can't help but hear echoes of the Delaney case, the unsolved murder that made him leave law enforcement. Fair novel, bad narrator
Revisado: 01-28-21
I usually love Heather Graham novels, but this one was a struggle to finish. The plot was predictable but the narrator's female voices were horrid, as was his Louisiana accent.

Historia
It was supposed to be a fun girls’ weekend in Salem, but when a past-life regression session instead sends a terrifying vision of murder to Kylie Connelly, she’s shaken and not sure what to think. Worse, later she identifies the attacker from her vision: He’s a prominent local politician. Special Agent Jon Dickson of the FBI’s Krewe of Hunters is on the trail of a suspected serial killer based on the scantest of clues and unreliable witness testimony. When he realizes Kylie’s vision might be his best lead, he must gain her trust and get close enough to guide her new talent.
