one of his worst

I can't imagine that this would be a helpful book for wives. I have been married for 30 years and Gary Smalley's work transformed our marriage early on. His concept of honoring your wife really hit home with me. The companion book for this to husband is pretty good but this book is not.

Business Classic Must Read
Revisado: 01-11-20
We loved this book. Its a short read and is over before you know it. There are some gem quotes that will be put into the common place and be read regularly. If you are an employer or an employee read this! If you thought "millennial snowflakes" were a modern phenomenon, you will see that its just same ole human nature for this generation. Testing and proving are essential to human character as stated in this story.

If you are just starting out in Amway, then this book is probably for you. It is a poorly written story with 10 points to help you think more positive, get motivated, and pump you up. But if you have any serious responsibilities or business to take care of, then this book is a complete waste of time.

Historia
In her late 30's, Rosaria encountered something that turned her world upside down - the idea that Christianity, a religion she had regarded as problematic, might be right about who God was. That idea seemed to fly in the face of the people and causes that she most loved. What follows is a story of what she describes as a train wreck at the hand of the supernatural. These are her secret thoughts about those events, written as only a reflective English professor could.

Historia
Many people in life talk about wanting to achieve something. So many people have lofty goals, dreams, and aspirations, but not many people follow through with realizing them. And, in fact, many people move further and further away from them with each passing day. Life can be convoluted at times. Sometimes, we're merely in reactionary mode and we lose sight of what we're aiming for. We're so busy responding to external stimuli, that we forget about the goals that are important to us, and we slip back into our negative patterns of behavior.

Long on words-short on content
Revisado: 12-05-14
I found this book to be mostly worthless. It has a few good stories and several other lousy ones which are used to illustrate the repetitive content of the book which is- Persistence requires perseverance. Huh??? Personally, It took an enormous amount of persistence to get through this boring book, so I guess you could say I learned persistence.

Now, in Free, he makes the compelling case that, in many instances, businesses can profit more from giving things away than they can by charging for them.

Well done. Great concepts.
Revisado: 11-30-11
I really liked this book. Author alo narrated and is easy to listen to and follow. Content is well organized. Excellent research. I thought this book would be sub-par because it was free, but on the contrary, it is excellent. If you are looking to incorporate free into your business, then this book is highly recomended.
