I was a very young girl when this horrible assassination happened. This book brought all the emotions to the surface in a very real way. I think Mr Hill loved Mrs. in the best kind of way....they had a divine relationship of admiration that could be felt through his own words in his own voice. This is one I will read and enjoy again.

Listening to this book in the words of the author and in his own voice was like sitting with an old friend enjoying a glass of “Good Red” as he would refer to a glass of wine. I especially enjoyed the last chapter and will continue to listen to it over and over. The “Boehnerisms” in the last chapter are worth the price of admission. The wisdom in those”isms” are lesson in themselves. I totally enjoyed the book!

I normally would not choose this genre for my reading pleasure but took the plunge on the suggestion of a close friend. Boy am I glad! So good that I couldn’t stop until I finished it ..I binged on it all day and thoroughly loved every minute of it. Really a good read!

This entire series, beginning with this 1st episode, is just as good as the next. I am getting close to the end of the fourth book and am sorry to see it come to an end. I hope the story will continue with future books in the same series. This is absolutely the best series I have read in a long time and I feel like I know all the characters like people in my life, that's how attached you become with them. Warning. . . .have kleenex handy because there are parts where you just can't control the tears. I loved every single minute of this series.

Terrible, long drawn out and the droning voice of the narrator, was so fake; I forced myself to finish it thinking this has to get better but I should have saved those few hours that I could have spent on a much better selection. This was awful!

Couldn't wait to start the book. . loved it!

The story line was excellent, it grabs you immediately and holds you all the way through.
I could not put it down; listened to it non-stop thru the night. The accent is a little tough
at first and there are times you have to listen close to understand the narrator, but overall the story line keeps your attention and grabs your heart. A few tissues handy might be a good idea.
