Historia
The Fey must convince the Alphas of every pack to lay aside their petty territorial squabbles and battles of dominance. If they refuse, both the humans and the supernatural races will fall at Mona's feet. Sally holds to a shred of hope. Though Vasile, Decebel, and their pack mates endure the torture of the In-Between, living their worst nightmares over and over, Sally holds. Though she knows that it is only a matter of time before their wolves take over, she holds. Sally knows that if the males die, then so too will their mates who have performed the Blood Rites.

The narrator is incredible! The books are varied, I'd say 3.5 to 4 stars but after you HEAR it performed by her?? 5 plus stars!!

Historia
It was a seemingly pleasant evening on October 1, 2017, and more than 20,000 people gathered at the Route 91 Harvest Festival. Everyone was in high spirits and the concert began to a thrilling fanfare. Unbeknownst to everyone, sounds began to erupt which were thought to be fireworks...until people started falling as dead bodies. The Las Vegas shooting was the deadliest attack in modern American history that claimed 58 lives and injured over 850. This is the story of the assailant Stephen Paddock.

Conclusion: We don't know why he did it
Revisado: 05-07-21
The narration was a bit stiff. I think the writing didn't help that. very repetitive and consistently using the full names of everything even when it had just been referenced. My biggest disappointment though was there is really nothing here. No answers and very little on the actual psychology. This isn't the author's fault, there isn't any content to explore his psyche but then...don't write a book.

Performance unfortunately overshadows content
Revisado: 05-30-18
I'm so sorry to say that I thought the performance seems somewhat robotic at times and overly forced emotional in others. It distracted from the book. The books Dr brown narrates herself are so much better. This book also seems repetitive of her others. Nothing new here.

Historia
The Antidote is a series of journeys among people who share a single, surprising way of thinking about life. What they have in common is a hunch about human psychology: that it’s our constant effort to eliminate the negative that causes us to feel so anxious, insecure, and unhappy. And that there is an alternative "negative path" to happiness and success that involves embracing the things we spend our lives trying to avoid.

Great insights
Revisado: 05-04-18
there were some amazing insights in this book. I found it fascinating and enjoyed the read very much. the narration is awesome. I find it a bit difficult to apply the philosophes discussed in a practical way but that is just me. My only complaint was occasional politically tinged statements and a lack of practical application for myself. the book red I've been extremely well with me mini philosophy course. I really enjoyed it

Idealistic and only really useful for young childr
Revisado: 04-16-18
unless you don't know anything about talking to children, this book is stating mostly the obvious. It says such things as don't tell your child you're stupid. duh. It also has lots of advice for young children and not much for teenagers. The conversations that they described having with their children seem very idealistic. implying that most children want to work with you and don't just want what they want sometimes. it would be very useful to someone really struggling with how to communicate with kids but I found most of it I already knew.
