Even though certain actions of the characters annoyed me it was a good story. The narrators were good with the exception of Shari Peele as Isis. she just has a lot of saliva in her mouth and I can hear the spit as she speaks and it really does annoy me, but her voice is good.

So I've been reading all the books in this series. Even though some of the characters and their ways got on my nerves, this was a good book. The narration was really good And so was the whole plot. So far, best book of the series.

Definitely a book for churchgoers

The story was just alright. it was nothing great but it was written well, and for the most part the narration was great.
I thought what was going on in this story was very childish, but nevertheless I guess it was entertaining.
I did struggle to finish, especially when the narrator who was narrating Monique's part would talk. Her voice was great but the spit that was caught in her mouth and on her lips I could hear clearly and it was a big turn off. I wish it could have been edited out so I could give this book a higher rating.

Entertaining story but too much spitty sounds

It was a very interesting story. It was entertaining but it was very hard for me to finish all because all I kept really hearing was like a very spitty narrator and I don't know if it was the equipment or what but I heard it in both the male and female narration. I don't like the sound of people smacking, so I definitely did not appreciate the sound of extra saliva or spit in the mouth when speaking.

Kinda of predictable but entertaining nonetheless. As far as the narration, They were all pretty good except for one guy who is very throaty. Sounded like he had extra saliva in his mouth- ASMR crap. Thank God there were more narrators or I probably wouldn't have been able to finish it

I mean it had great character development and all of that but just a little long and maybe just didn't hold my interest as much as I thought it would.

I don't know what was going on in this book. it was very boring and the characters were annoying and just plain dumb.
You definitely can't judge a book by the reviews it gets because I see nothing great about this book. Just a big no!

What was so great about Lincoln?

This book was not at all what I was expecting. I was very annoyed with the characters Mona, Lisa and Catherine. I would not read or listen to part two.

I normally love the books by this author, but this is the second one in a row I didn't really care for.

I am normally a big fan of this author but this book is not it.

First off, the narration is not good. I just listened to this woman narrate another book and couldn't stand her ASMR 🤢. maybe it's a nervous thing, but she has way too much saliva in her mouth than she's swallowing or something way too much. it's gross. And the man his voice just wasn't it! He didn't help the book at all.

As far as the story I probably didn't even get halfway through and I normally am good at giving books a chance but this was just boring, there was nothing really going on or worth listening to. I'm not sure what happened with this author but it's a no for me.
