Anyone still delusional enough to deny that our efforts to establish a peaceful home have been utterly disgraced by murderous fools hate-mongering genovidal racists, beginning with David Ben-Gurion and Menachim Begin, MUST read this book

Douglas Murray is cultural equivalent in the 2020s to what Churchill was in the 1930s. He delineates the threats, tactics, and psychosis that lies at the heart of modern Left's efforts to undermine the epistemological and ethical foundation of civilization itself. He's a herald, a harbinger, and a hero.

The Outlander series was my first foray into audiobooks, and part of the reason I have devoured nearly 100 books a year. This narrator has the best voice of everyone other than Denny Delk from Huckleberry Finn

For real, we're screwed. I've never loved a book that made me feel so depressed.

... because it's more of a spin-off fan fiction. And while the first one was mediocre at best, and didn't do much for the existing characters and their story arcs, it at least left open the potential for a reasonably entertaining conclusion, rather than the CONVULSION that ended this book. Nick Geraci wasn't terribly interesting from the beginning, and was completely unknown to readers. Yet, HE is the main character. And just when he becomes sympathetic, we're expected to believe that he'd attempt to orchestrate some sort of miraculous rags-to-godfather story, only to become some sort of goofball comic book villain during the last act of the entire series.

I will say, normally I hate the sound of Scott Brick's narration. Soooo overdone. Maudlin. But somehow, it felt like the perfect way to warn listeners that the fingernail on chalkboard feeling they experience when listening to this book reflects the quality of the story, as well.

Anyone interested in an actual tribute to the Corleone family should actually try Ed Falco's "The Family Corleone"

... other than that we should all be worried about the similarities between political correctness and "animalism". Perhaps the end result likely won't be gulags and purges, but ideological retaliation is simply human nature. And when it comes in the form of people who have actually convinced themselves that they AREN'T engaging in vindictiveness, or who are willing to aid in their own downfall out of a misplaced sense of guilt and self-righteousness.

The work of Orwell is approaching 100 years old. And has never been more relevant.

This book unequivocally eviscerates the arguments of charlatan activist Nicole Hannah-Jones, and exposes the pernicious agenda of Jake Silverstein and the once-great New York Times and the Pulitzer Center.

Wood does so with blistering accuracy and the tale about the many ways that these unforgivably mendacious text are attempting pushed a destructive narrative that infantilizes people of color and attempts to undermine anything of value that existed in the foundation of our country. I am a lifelong proud Democrat, but I was absolutely disgusted by what Jones and the New York Times are attempting to foist upon both the public at large, and more pernicious lie, our children.

If your school system is considering the adoption of this scandalously fallacious 1619 curriculum, send copies of this book to every member of the school board.

One of my favorite Vonnegut books

Classic Vonnegut. The first writer to make me fall in love with literature. I don't know what it is that he's truly saying, but I feel like I get it, all the same. And it is always hilariously funny, and wistfully melancholic at the same time. He straddles the line between hope and despair with trenchant sarcasm that never quite becomes cynicism. I don't know. I'm just smart enough to know there's something there and enjoy it, but not smart enough to know what it is or why it is important.

... especially in a culture in which so many people are interested in mindfulness, but end up only reinforcing the very dualistic conception of consciousness that they are ostensibly trying to overcome. So much modern woo is self-aggrandizing. This explains first principles of nondualism in elegant simplicity.
