Historia
It was the end of World War II. FDR's New Deal had redefined American politics. Taxes were at an all-time high. The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki had created a fear of total annihilation. The rise of secret government agencies and sanctions on business had many watching their backs. America's sense of freedom was diminishing... and many were desperate to take that freedom back.

Phenomenal!
Revisado: 04-03-23
This book is required reading(or listening as it were) for anybody who is a fan of the Bioshock games. I've listened to this audiobook in it's entirety six times, it's great for a long distance road trips. John Shirley does a fantastic job at bringing all the characters to life.

It's great until chapter 5
Revisado: 04-03-23
So everything was going good, dude made some great points and actually made me take pause and think but then chapter 5 hit. I knew the moment the word "FeMiNiSt" slithered its way out of her mouth that it was gonna be bad. This goofy broad has obviously never played the game because every single point she was trying to make is very easily shot down if you know the source material which obviously she did not.
Too bad, it could have been great but as they say 'one bad apple spoils the bunch'.
