Historia
For Penny Lee high school was a total nonevent. Her friends were okay, her grades were fine, and while she somehow managed to land a boyfriend, he doesn't actually know anything about her. When Penny heads to college in Austin, Texas, to learn how to become a writer, it's 79 miles and a zillion light-years away from everything she can't wait to leave behind.

It was okay
Revisado: 03-15-22
I really enjoyed the way the author wrote so many strong mediators about feelings that I really related to. The story was cute and light, not to heavy.
I liked it alot.
🚨Spoiler 🚨
The only thing was I didn’t enjoy how she treated her mother, I didn’t understand why she was so mad even at the end. Her mom seemed like a fun easy going person and I understand the main was a intense person so I guess that’s where it was a clash.

Good but not the best
Revisado: 03-13-22
If you like lore on WEBTOON you’ll like this book, it certainly did hold me off. And I do understand this is a smutt book, but there was more smutt then romance between the characters. They slept together more then actually bonded through love. It’s heavily influenced by lore but not completely the same. It was a good story just wish there was less smut and more character building with the romance part.

Patroclus, an awkward young prince, has been exiled to the kingdom of Phthia to be raised in the shadow of King Peleus and his golden son, Achilles. “The best of all the Greeks”—strong, beautiful, and the child of a goddess—Achilles is everything the shamed Patroclus is not. Yet despite their differences, the boys become steadfast companions. Their bond deepens as they grow into young men and become skilled in the arts of war and medicine—much to the displeasure and the fury of Achilles’ mother, Thetis, a cruel sea goddess with a hatred of mortals.

A good YA
Revisado: 03-04-22
I liked this book it was like gossip girl and Nerve mixed. It was good for a young adult book and tackled hard realities of bullying and the victim feeling like they need revenge.
!!!!!Spoiler !!!!
There was one plot hole with the boy ransom. I felt like he was being built up to be a villain that was going to cause actual issues.

Tackles hard subjects
Revisado: 03-02-22
I think the author did a great job making a YA story about the subjects he did. It really does capture parental divorce, parental separation, loss, and abuse very well. It shows how what do and treat each other during trying times affects their kids.
I did enjoy this book and the performance was good too.

So good it hurts it was over.
Revisado: 02-24-22
I loved this book, I seen it recommended all over in different book communities. Circe is a powerful goddess and her thoughts and feelings are so relatable, she’s empathetic and scornful.
I really recommend this book to everyone who wants to read it, or who thought of it. This book was one of the books I was sad to finish because I wanted it to go on and on

I liked it a lot
Revisado: 01-29-22
A lot of people are complaining about the readers “accent” it’s not that bad to be honest, I think it’s ridiculous how many people disregarded this book because of petty things. This book is fun, and the reader painted such a vivid picture in my mind. The book had such a great build up, and twists nothing was predictable.
If you liked the movie you’ll like the book, the book goes so much more in debt and has a different story line then the short film. Truly great.
I really loved how all the characters had personality and debt, problems. Not one character fell flat, they all were brimming with depth.
Also the reader is Chinese and saying “I’m Chinese and she couldn’t pronounce this word like I can” okay karen, give her a freakin break. Great book

In pitch-perfect voices, Kathryn Stockett creates three extraordinary women whose determination to start a movement of their own forever changes a town, and the way women—mothers, daughters, caregivers, friends—view one another. A deeply moving novel filled with poignancy, humor, and hope, The Help is a timeless and universal story about the lines we abide by, and the ones we don't.

What a freakin great read
Revisado: 01-23-22
I loved the movie on Netfl I x. So I figured I’d like the book more and I sure did.
It’s so beautifully written, the characters have so much depth and growth. Shows the evils of ofcourse the south in the 1960s (and now I’m sure, those evil people aren’t gone) and how they treated black people. If you’re looking for a good book with a great story and a great performance this is it.
