No. The voice was annoying for me at times, although I understand it was narrated in the style of the writing...

The story and narration was absolutely breathtaking! This is one of my all-time favorite books...there are a few technical medical references that could have turned my stomach, but the rest of the story more than makes up for it....would highly recommend.
