omg the narrator did such an amazing job at pulling this story to life. I thoroughly enjoyed it. there were times where I wanted to scream at the main character to shut up and stop being so stubborn but it did fit her character

disappointed in the ending

that was a horrible way to end the book
it's as if you just got tired of writing the book and decided to just end it after they achieved the "impossible". until then the book was good and the story was enjoyable...but then you rush the ending and just end it abruptly 😤😤

Good book....Lauren Fortang is...a different story

I really liked the story and I have to admit I was rooting for her and the Darkling...hoping she could make an honest man out of him lol. other than that there are too many instances where the narrator (Lauren) speaks too softly and you can't really tell what she said...she whispers too much for me. she is not recommended for people who have hearing problems.

wonderful book, horrible narrator

this book is so amazing. I have reread this book twice now on audible despite how much I hated the narrator. her voice is highly annoying and the way she tried to do different voices it made it worse...she is better off narrating a porn/romantic/seductive novel...not one like this. you should have had an African Narrator read this....or at least the same guy who read the first book. please don't use her again lol.

the original story is awesome. the sequel is highly disappointing. I got extremely tired of all the emphasis of gay romance. we get enough of TV shows and movies and commercials forcing the gay agenda on us why do you have to push it in a new Disney book too? I typically dont have a problem with it but every 10 mins or so we are constantly reminded of how much the daughter is in love with Isabella. is this supposed to be a Halloween book or a Lesbian Romance? the romance effort made the book boring. in the movie, yes we know max likes Allison but it's not the main emphasis of the story, just the idea that got them to waking the sisters. in the sequel all it focuses is on is how much the main character is in love with the other girl. so I give the book 2 stars for that.
