What's with all the.......long pauses

The story is ok but the narration was bad. A big disappointment was that the story felt like it was building up to something, making so many promises, but eventually not living up to most of them. Where most of my scorn lives is with the narrator's volatile pacing. If you want to give this book a chance, avoid the audio version at all costs

Isabel Cañas delivers a beautifully written vampire story

I'm so glad I read this book. It's well written and shines a new light on vampires written in the style of a Mexican gothic romance/war story. And since the history hits close to home, I recognized a lot of the area (and history) being described.

That's this book.
This is what happens when you misread the narrator's name. You get a book where an author tries to be witty but lacks the brain capacity to do so.

Not sure if I'm the only one that experienced this, but the book file seemed a bit off. It doesn't keep track of the chapters and wouldn't show me how much time I had left. It doesn't even mark it as read after I finished listening to it.
