The identity comes first: Evie Porter. Once she’s given a name and location by her mysterious boss, Mr. Smith, she learns everything there is to know about the town and the people in it. Then the mark: Ryan Sumner. The last piece of the puzzle is the job. Evie isn’t privy to Mr. Smith’s real identity, but she knows this job isn't like the others. Ryan has gotten under her skin, and she’s starting to envision a different sort of life for herself. But Evie can’t make any mistakes—especially after what happened last time.

Excellent Story AND Narration!
Revisado: 05-15-24
This story was unveiled bit by bit in the most satisfying and tantalizing manner. Sometimes jumping back and forth in time can feel jarring and annoying as a reader, but in this book, it was actually enjoyable. It kept me guessing, and I loved every minute of it. I did NOT hate the ending, either, so that's a bonus. Excellent narration/performance as well. Loved it!

Historia
For even the casual observer, it is evident that the world, nearly as a whole, is unmoored from obedience to Almighty God. The number of sins, many of which “cry to Heaven for vengeance,” which saturate the culture and the personal lives of the common man are legion, both in their breadth and in their diabolical quality. This spiritual depravity has invited, into the light of day, the Enemy who has always been working in darkness.

Excellent and vital information, but buy the book.
Revisado: 04-14-24
This book should be read by every Christian, especially young people. It is informative, thorough, and contains vital information about the prevalence of the occult in all aspects of our culture. That being said, the narration is so robotic and odd that I had to double-check to see that there was an actual human being reading it. While the narrator has a great voice, sentences are often read with misplaced pauses and an emphasis on the wrong words or phrases, as if the narrator had not read the text at all before recording the narration in one take. That is a shame, as this is a very important book. I recommend buying the book instead.

Historia
Will Wilder is a mischievous, headstrong 12-year-old with an otherworldly gift - he alone can see the nefarious creatures encroaching on Perilous Falls. For nearly a century, a sacred relic has protected his hometown from the raging waters surrounding it. But when Will "borrows" the relic for his own purposes, he accidentally unleashes an ancient evil. As boats sink and hideous creatures crawl from the rising waters, Will must set things right before it is too late.

Fantastic story, incredible performance!
Revisado: 06-27-16
I cannot say enough about Raymond Arroyo's talent. The story is excellent, and the performance is nothing short of amazing. If he didn't have so many jobs already--journalist, producer, author, etc.--Raymond Arroyo could make a full-time career out of book narration.
Arroyo's training as an actor is really evident here. It's hard to believe all the voices in this story are his!
I started listening to Will Wilder: The Relic of Perilous Falls to see if it would hold the interest of my niece, nephew and younger cousins, and became entranced myself. Young and old alike will enjoy this expertly-crafted adventure story. Highly recommended!
