Historia
The Authority Gap provides a startling perspective on the unseen bias at work in our everyday lives, to reveal the scale of the gap that still persists between men and women. Marshalling a wealth of data with precision and insight, and including interviews with pioneering women such as Baroness Hale, Mary Beard and Bernadine Evaristo, this is a fresh feminist take on how to address and counteract systemic sexism in ways that benefit us all.

Essential and engaging “reading” to understand the scale and pervasiveness of the problem.

As an amateur feminist, I found this book enlightening, shocking and interesting in equal measure. The book skilfully articulates the author’s investigation in to the causes and effects of archaic and biased organisational structures, systems, processes and use of language.
Fear not, however, it’s not all doom and gloom! This book not only describes the issues but provides useful and actionable steps we can all take to recognise and hopefully reverse some of the damaging impacts of the authority gap.
