Historia
Biloxi, Mississippi: After the fatal shooting of one of the city’s most prominent couples - Vincent Sherry was a circuit court judge; his wife, Margaret, was running for mayor - their grief-stricken daughter came home to uncover the truth behind the crime that shocked a community and to follow leads that police seemed unable or unwilling to pursue. What Lynne Sposito soon discovered were bizarre connections to the Dixie Mafia, a predatory band of criminals who ran The Strip, Biloxi’s beachfront hub of sex, drugs, and sleaze.

Narrator lacking
Revisado: 06-14-21
The narrator lacks inflection and emotion when reading the story and he mispronounces words and names. Maybe those listening who aren’t from the coast or not familiar with the coast wouldn’t notice but for a local, it was aggravating.

Beautiful story of redemption and grace
Revisado: 05-18-21
What a beautiful, pleasant surprise this story held! My heart and mind needed a reminder of how redemption and grace has been lavished on me and passed down from generation to generation.

Historia
Sometimes the biggest ripples come from the smallest events. Like the day that Emma Guthrie, drop-out college student, walks into world-famous movie star Garrett Walker's trailer, and walks out on her way to becoming Mrs. Emma Walker, wife of an A-list actor. With her husband's encouragement, Emma pens a screenplay based on her life, which becomes a blockbuster sensation. Through it all, Garrett is her ally and her mentor... until Emma discovers an incriminating text message on Garrett's cell phone.

Wonderful story
Revisado: 06-23-20
I loved that the author chose to tell this story without it being full of foul language. It’s refreshing to listen to a story that isn’t filled with unnecessary words.
The main character transformed from someone trying to figure out who she is into a strong, independent woman.
I would love to see more writing works by this author.
