I thought the book was excellent in its content, but could/should have been edited down more.

Great style of explaining CBT and how it it used in therapy, then using it with actual patients. I found it personally enlightening for depression and anxiety with which I deal, and also with other areas that are common among friends, family, and co-workers. I have a much greater understanding of what folks go through in our troubled society and ways they could be helped. Highly recommend.

The reader with the southern accent made the story sound trivial, like he was reading it to kids. And it has way too many superfluous details, like they were trying to stretch the story out long enough to make it into a book. And lastly, after the story builds up slowly and painfully, the end result is that there is a fake arrest of the author and the Russian is allowed to just walk away. I never did figure out what they were trying to get out of the Russian and what was the point of the story? Worst Audible I've heard! Really a stretch on credibility.

I thought this book was interesting and well-written. It is obvious that it was written from research and comments from real people, not just whumped-up information. To vote for any candidate, a citizen should really know about the life of the candidate up to and including politics. This book goes clear back to Donald's childhood and tries to explain some reasons for his current behavior. I thought it was brief, to the point, well-organized, and insightful. It helps to establish the credibility of the author to know he has been an investigative reporter for the well-respected New York Times, and has observed the subject for most of his career.
