Great book, terrible reading

Pioneer book - very bad reading (Audio)
Revisado: 02-14-17
If you could sum up Prof. Arnold Ehret's Mucusless Diet Healing System: Annotated, Revised, and Edited by Prof. Spira in three words, what would they be?
Eat mainly fruit to let your body heal itself. Fruits and greens are the only non-mucus forming foods. The body heals itself more easily if you are fasting.
Who was your favorite character and why?
no characters
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Justin Fraction?
anyone else! It was very annoying to listen to this audiobook. At times it seemed like they just recorded all the words that appear in this book separately and randomly and then combined them with a software. Tone and pause were off and unnatural on many occasions
Any additional comments?
Considering that this book was written a hundred years ago it is groundbreaking. I read many new-age raw vegan and live food advocating books that are great and I was curious to read the material that preceded them all.

Historia
In 1999 in the Los Rios region of southern Chile, orthopedic surgeon, devoted wife, and loving mother Dr. Mary Neal drowned in a kayak accident. While cascading down a waterfall, her kayak became pinned at the bottom and she was immediately and completely submerged. Despite the rescue efforts of her companions, Mary was underwater for too long, and as a result, died. To Heaven and Back is Mary’s remarkable story of her life’s spiritual journey and what happened as she moved from life to death to eternal life, and back again.

gòod message but too Bible-y
Revisado: 09-22-16
Interesring book with a good message but too much phrases from the Bible (especially annoying in the audio version where they always point out which edition of the Bible they took it from which os longer than the phrase itself)

Historia
Bringing to light that food and health go hand in hand, Matthew Kenney used every opportunity to improve his new raw cuisine and its methods. Speaking at TED conferences, moving to Los Angeles and raising awareness globally on how great tasting food can promote health, his brand grew. Nearly 25 years after becoming a disillusioned young chef, Kenney felt at home in his own life for the first time. Not only was he healthy and happy, he had identified the future of food.

Great book, great message, bad narrator choice
Revisado: 04-14-16
Loved this book. I was already somewhat familiar with some of MK's work and have been intrigued about the story behind the rise and fall of Pure Food and Wine - which was my favorite restaurant ever. If MK had narrated this book himself it would have been an even more mesmerizing experience. The narrator guy tried his best but he didn't become one with the story.
