Best book I've listened to so far this year. The characters were beautifully written. The heartbreaking story and the perfect performance by Andi Arndt and Zachary Webber made this a five star book.

I absolutely loved this book. Griffin and Cora have so much chemistry. I loved the way he called her tic tac and why he chose that nickname. This book starts off with so much excitement and suspense. It was fun to experience their travels while wondering when something unexpected would happen. I loved the chemistry between these characters and would love it if they were included in future books in this series.
I listened to the audio version of this story. Sarah Puckett is easily one of my favorite female narrators. Her portrayal of a woman in distress is fantastic and adds to the suspense and excitement of the book.

Second chance for Rae and Iain. I did spend part of this book being kinda mad at Iain but the way he redeemed himself made me fall absolutely in love with him. Rae is so strong and determined. Such a great example of how to be an independent woman, despite the heartbreak and devastation she endured in her younger years.
Narration by Mary Ann Weathers and Patrick Zeller was spot on and really enhanced my enjoyment of the story.

Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden both were fantastic as Scarlett and Parish. Both Scarlett and Parished had suffered terrible tragedies before they met so this made for a very emotional story. This is why I am so glad I listened in audio because Maxine and Joe are at their best with emotional scenes.
I also loved that the HEA was very hard fought but was so satisfying. One of my favorite stories of the year.

What an enjoyable story. I listened to the audiobook version of this novella. Maxine Mitchell was perfection and Joe Arden was great with his French accent. My favorite part of this book was how it was mostly an introduction to this couple and sets up the rest of the series, which is set many years later and revolves around their children. It was the perfect way to establish the chemistry between the two characters and help understand their deep connection.

I am certain this thought crosses my mind every time I listen to a book in the Hot Scots world but right now, Aidan is my favorite MacTaggart. His silly plan to retrace his brother's steps to find an American wife is a hilarious premise. I love it when I read/listen to a book that makes me both laugh and cry. This one absolutely fit the bill.
Told completely from Aidan's POV which I loved. The alternate version of this story for Calli's POV is called Wicked in a Kilt. I really liked that story as well but I absolutely love getting the other side of the story.
Will Watt was a great choice to narrate. His Scottish access is fantastic and I hope to hear more from him in this series.

Another fantastic story set in the 80s by Karen Grey. This is the second book in the Boston Classics series. The first book in this series, What I'm Looking For, was one of my favorite books of the year. If you have not listened to the audiobook version of that book, please do yourself a favor and take a listen.
This story is a second-chance story focusing on another member of the Shakespeare Boston theater. A tragedy ended their budding relationship many years ago and it was beautiful they way they helped to heal each other while coming back. I really loved the inclusion of the details of the plays and the parts that Ben played. I also loved that the plan to include the dog in one of the performances brought much comedy and sweetness. Another great part of the book was the music mentioned in the form of playlist titles at the beginning of each chapter.
Emma Wilder and Brian Pallino were both great choices for narration. They are both so good at the emotional stuff and had me sad right along with them and laughing right along with them.

Such a charming story. To be honest I was a little worried at first when the scene where these two meet began. Nobel started to come off as pretty creepy, however, the way it unfolded and the hilarity that ensued proved I was worried for nothing.
I love a story where the woman knows what she wants and does not allow a man to tell her to give up her dreams. Dove is an independent free spirit and a really great character.
I'm look forward to more in the Lyon Family series.

I listened to the audiobook version and think Stella Bloom and Lance Greenfield were perfect as Dove and Nobel.

Brit vs Scot is the most fun I've had listening to a book in a long time. Bringing these British, Scottish and American families together for a wedding at a "naturist" resort is a hilarious premise. Add in friends-to-lovers/second-chance, Highland games, and plenty of heat, you have a great story.

I highly recommend the audiobook version. Narration by Stella Hunter, Shane East and Zachary Webber. Zachary Webber was such a fun addition to this cast

See me after class was a fun enemies to lovers, workplace story. So many laughs as both Arlo and Greer are pretty entertaining. It did take me a while to warm up to Arlo as a character but he absolutely redeemed himself with how he went about attempting to win Greer back. The friends and coworkers were great characters too and I would really love it if there are more stories with this group.
Narrators Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber are both terrific at comedy. These two are a dream team and absolutely delivered.
