Maggie and Nick Prophet are enemies by situation when they unexpectedly meet while crashing at their respective best friends' loft. Danger, criminals and odd underlying connections drive the story. It's fast paced and filled with action. Somewhere along the way they realize that they don't have to be enemies, and their hearts take over. I enjoyed the story and the reveals as it progressed. Jason Clarke and Savannah Peachwood did an excellent job!

The book I've been waiting for

While I enjoyed the earlier books in this series, this was the one I was most looking forward to. Maybe I'm just drawn in to the drama of an enemies to lovers story. Whatever the case, this was my favorite of the four books.

I enjoyed this story. The main characters were pretty stubborn about admitting to even having feelings, let alone having them for each other. But those are always the ones that seem to feel the most! I thought the narration fit the story and characters very well.

After the first book, I was expecting more struggle for these characters. While there are some internal battles, they develop into the people and couple they need to be. I liked it! Narration was great!

So far, the story has been good. I feel like I need the next book before I can make a true judgement since this one ends one a cliffhanger.

Mixed feelings. First there is the difficult subject matter: the rape and it's aftermath. Then there is also the dynamic between the victim and the therapist. As a romance, I don't think there was enough meat to their story. And the repercussions of their relationship were not given much attention. I just wanted more from the romance part of the story. But they do get their happily ever after and the story ends all tied up in a pretty bow, so there is that! Narration was good.

The Edge of Glory is a sweet love story. The characters felt young to me, leaving me feeling like it was more YA than NA. At times it reached for NA, but didn't quite pull it off. It was still a decent story, maybe just not what I was expecting.

Unexpected and hilarious

Oh my goodness, I love a book that can either make me laugh or make me cry. This one had me laughing so much at one point that I was practically in tears. Loved it!

Two guys, one girl, lots of sexy times; as long as you have an open mind, this story is a fun one. There is a little bit of drama (but, what family doesn't have that.) I enjoyed both the story and I think the narration is great!!

Like visiting an old friend

Listening to this story felt like a visit to my childhood. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed the story now as an adult. I found Rachel and the story captivating. I would love if Ms. McAdams would narrate more books in the series!
