Historia
For David Goggins, childhood was a nightmare--poverty, prejudice, and physical abuse colored his days and haunted his nights. But through self-discipline, mental toughness, and hard work, Goggins transformed himself from a depressed, overweight young man with no future into a US Armed Forces icon and one of the world's top endurance athletes. The only man in history to complete elite training as a Navy SEAL, Army Ranger, and Air Force tactical air controller, he went on to set records in numerous endurance events.

I would recommend this book to anyone who needs motivation to accomplish their goals. Great read and it’s hard to believe someone was able to overcome so much to reach their dreams.

Historia
Invariably, armies are accused of preparing to fight the previous war. In Learning to Eat Soup with a Knife, Lieutenant Colonel John A. Nagl—a veteran of both Operation Desert Storm and the conflict in Iraq—considers the now crucial question of how armies adapt to changing circumstances during the course of conflicts for which they are initially unprepared.

Great book - read by Siri's brother
Revisado: 09-23-16
The lessons from Vietnam and the Malayan conflict are clear and very well put together. I was surprised at the end that the book was actually narrated by a human - I could have sworn it was a robot.

Historia
In the more shadowy corners of the world, frequented by angels and demons and everything in between, Laytham Ballard is a legend. It's said he raised the dead at the age of 10, stole the Philosopher's Stone in Vegas back in 1999, and survived the bloodsucking kiss of the Mosquito Queen. Wise in the hidden ways of the night, he's also a cynical bastard who stopped thinking of himself as the good guy a long time ago.

Save yourself some time
Revisado: 03-03-16
I really tried to listen to this novel. It's very difficult to identify with the main character or to fit in his world. Read this if you like depressing unethical characters.
