Historia
Killing the sadistic warlord known as the Dog Tongue took everything Gus Berry had, including the woman he loved. Now, all he wants is to get away from the bloody scene of their final showdown. But when he heads west in a stolen truck, a brutal snowstorm forces him to turn back—and seek refuge in the Dog Tongue’s former headquarters. Though it’s littered with human carnage, the abandoned luxury hotel has a lot to offer a guy like Gus. But in addition to soft beds and working toilets, he encounters still-lurking dangers both living and undead.

Revisado: 01-28-24
Another slam dunk my friend got me into the David Baldocchi book series and tell him everyday these are really good reads and audio books. I like how the stories all have twist and turns that keeps you on your seat and also wanting more. A very solid book series.

Historia
Asher Mallone just wanted to do his time and retire. He and his family had plans. Unfortunately for him, the Teledyne Corporation had its own ideas, and they didn't track with Mallone's. The more he did and the better he became at his job, the more important tasks Teledyne assigned him, ultimately culminating in the creation of a force of corporate espionage specialists better than any other—past, present, or future. Retirement could wait a little longer.

Started out slow!!
Revisado: 01-28-24
I really love the book as the story progressed, it did start out very slow in the beginning but every story does. My only gripe is what is up with the cliff hangers all of a sudden. The last 2 books were cliffhangers and I really don’t like cliffhangers, the first 3/4 of the series were complete stories but definitely left it open for a part 2. These cliffhangers really put a sour taste in my mouth cause with only a few books left in the set it’s already 3 stories that really needs closing. Specialist Aster and the police, Princess and Scott, and now this one all needs part 2. The wait is killing me please continue these stories.

Historia
In the late 2020s and early '30s, corporations managed to render the major governments of the world obsolete. The big corporations owned most of the territories as well as the majority of the world's wealth. While many of the old traditions were still observed in various parts of the world, the true power was with the corporations. In the late '30s, what would be known as the Corporate Wars began as larger companies initiated hostile takeovers in a whole new fashion. Employees, armed with corporate weapons, warred for dominance. On May 1st, 2067, it all ended in a nuclear fire.

Kinda hard to follow
Revisado: 09-26-23
To be honest, the last two books left us with really drastic Cliff Hangers. To throw this book in with multiple stories just like the one in the beginning of the series. Kind of threw me for a loop. It wasn’t bad it, but it wasn’t not bad. But I am a fan of the Father’s World Series and so I shall and will continue to support.

Upset at first but strong end
Revisado: 06-25-23
It did leave me a bit upset that the first three stories were just repeats from the beginning of the fallen World Series, but you made it up with the last three stories, being completely different and new with Matthew Kade, by far the best character in this book series, but you still get a three star!!

Love the series buttt.
Revisado: 03-13-23
Overall the series is a pretty good one love the story and how the characters are relatable, but book 4 by far the biggest drag in the series so far. Lots more dialogue than action unlike the first 3 books hopefully things pick back up after this one.

Historia
On a flight from London to Boston, Ted Severson meets the stunning and mysterious Lily Kintner. Sharing one too many martinis, the strangers begin to play a game of truth, revealing intimate details about themselves. Ted talks about his marriage that’s going stale and his wife, Miranda, who he’s sure is cheating on him. Ted and his wife were a mismatch from the start - he the rich businessman, she the artistic free spirit - a contrast that once inflamed their passion but has now become a cliché. But their game turns a little darker when Ted jokes that he could kill Miranda....

A lot of dialogue
Revisado: 01-26-23
Overall this book was a great listen, but in my option it was a bit dialogue heavy at times which really dragged out the book but I am most definitely waiting on the next one gotta finish this series.
