Possible hint of Spoilers - Depending on your personality (and I only say this knowing it’s fiction) - this was as close to perfect as a story I’ve listened to yet! Loved the relationship between Myles and Saffron. Loved what a great mom and wife Saffron was. Loved the realistic loyalty shown in “most” family members. Loved that each time I almost wanted to quit listening due to how horribly Saffron was treated by Clarise, I was rewarded for hanging in there! The narrators were excellent! I would love if someone could make a movie out of this beautifully written story. A very awesome feel good kind of book. I already miss the characters….LOL

This is my first try at a book series. So far the first 3 have been good and I am getting #4 without hesitation. Never thought I would read this type of series but I am pretty much hook. Seems to have a little of everything in each story. Even if you don’t read the series - seems the author catches the reader up by summarizing the story somehow in each new book of the series. Part of me would rather not have to hear details I already know from reading each one in order, but I guess for those who may not have the time or patience
to read each one - they are able to get each book on its own if read only.

I read some of the reviews saying that the ending was unrealistic or it all happened to quickly or whatever, but I say Thank You to the author. I mean it’s her story, and it’s her pen. Who doesn’t love a happy ending? I know I love these types of it all works out in the end stories!
Sometimes, after reading r listening to a book or going to a movie, I am angry at the author. Cause there isn’t hardly ever a happy ending anymore! I listen to books to escape the emotional roller payer of my life. Taking care of my mom who is now on hospice with Alzheimer’s. My dad isn’t around cause he had a heart attack on his first vacation with my mom about a month after retiring after working for over 35 years and he died there. So my mom came home from that vacation alone.
I don’t know too many people that are having a happy time with it in real life either, so for me, I love a story where everyone you grew to love ended up livening happily ever after. There is enough of drama and heartache in real life. It’s wonderful to escape and get lost for a little while where dreams come true. If I was holding a pen writing a story, my books would have happy endings too! Can’t wait to listen to another one! ❤️

Great book. I couldn’t put it down. Narrator was perfect! Well written story. Edge of my seat the whole time. I was at first hesitant of the subject matter, but I was happy that I continued listening. The focus was on the wonder of who did it and I enjoyed this story very much! Amazing ending. Couldn't have written a better ending myself.
