Historia
Think of The War of Art as tough love...for yourself. Since 2002, The War of Art has inspired people around the world to defeat "resistance"; to recognize and knock down dream-blocking barriers and to silence the naysayers within us. Resistance kicks everyone's butt, and the desire to defeat it is equally as universal. The War of Art identifies the enemy that every one of us must face, outlines a battle plan to conquer this internal foe, then pinpoints just how to achieve the greatest success.

Don't waste a free credit, much less money
Revisado: 04-08-23
I'm honestly one of those who rarely makes time to write a review. However, I'm also someone who, even if a book is mediocre, I keep it in my audible library. This is literally the first book in my extremely long history with audible that I refunded for my credit back at the half way point. This is Religious, empty, fluff. I will now question the YouTuber who went on and on about it, and anyone else who ever brings it up, as being very suspect in judgement. If this book helps you, you have bigger problems you need to deal with.

Life Changing
Revisado: 09-13-20
I have consumed more self improvement non-fiction in my life than I can count, and this book is going to have more of an effect on me than everything else put together. Although I do not have BPD, I am on the trauma-caused "dissociation spectrum", and I can see so much of myself reflected in Cindy's story that it's kind of scary. On top of that, the reader poured so much emotion into the words that I would have thought it was Cindy herself, if I didn't know better. There's pain and anger in there that was moving. The very next book I have started on after this is a DBT workbook. I have a lot to unpack from inside myself after this book. If you had a narcissistic or neglectful parent, were bullied in school, or otherwise were subjected to emotional, physical, or sexual trauma as a child, you owe it to that wounded child inside yourself to listen to this book.
