Love William king, but I think this may be my favorite G&F book yet. The story telling was tight, characters (though familiar) were well drawn and the plot had several turns and escalating revelations I didn’t expect.
Gotrek’s character seemed far more fleshed out in this story which added a refreshing depth to his dynamic with Felix.
Thoroughly entertaining, Very refreshing and entirely satisfying.
Jonathan Keeble is brilliant narrating as always.

A beautiful and melancholic story about a wandering young man in search of meaning through the boring and exciting events of day to day life. This was my first book by Flaubert and I will definitely try some more of his work.
RemInded me of Jung’s theory of a man’s relationship with his “anima”.
Also one of the best narrations I’ve heard!

This book is good not only for those wanting to understand what it means to be a better man for the future, but can give the peace of mind that comes with understanding why certain relationships went wrong in the past. Miss Brody wrote a book full of knowledge backed up with deep and thought provoking wisdom. I wish she had more material published!
Also high praise to Corinne Davies on her narration! Her voice fit the content so perfectly I can’t imagine Karen Brody’s voice being any different in real life.
All in all one of the easiest read and satisfyingly thought provoking books I’ve consumed in a while. Worth every penny!
