1. I admire the narrator. 2. The author's research on the location is impressive. I've lived in Boise and the Treasure Valley area my entire life, and my mother's family resides in Oregon. 3. The MMC/FMC features an age gap, enemy-to-lovers trope, spicy content, and an alpha male. I appreciated that the book combined all three stories. It's undoubtedly a dark romance, far from a vanilla romance. Sebastian, the MMC, is a compelling alpha male driven by a desire for revenge against Hayle's father. A surprising plot twist unfolds in book three.

Loved the narrators, enjoyed that duet novels. Great back story, a little slow burn on the hook up. Wish that it was explained more on the plot twist. That felt rushed at the end. 🌹🌶️🔥

Had a good story line but….

I loved the Male lead character and the male narrator. The female narrator mispronounced a few words that took away from the story. About around character 57 I speeded up the story just so I could finish the book. Anytime there was a plot twist, I’d slow it down.
