Historia
Jason has a problem. He doesn't remember anything before waking up on a school bus holding hands with a girl. Apparently she's his girlfriend Piper, his best friend is a kid named Leo, and they're all students in the Wilderness School, a boarding school for "bad kids." What he did to end up here, Jason has no idea—except that everything seems very wrong.

PLEASE STOP RE-RECORDING
Revisado: 01-18-24
I'm sorry, but the Piper narrator was the WORST! She kept messing up the names and words!!! Someone needed to edit or coach her! She tried too hard and was yelling half the time. No subtlety. Please get another narrator for Piper. AND Leo's narrator isn't as good as the first narrator. Please Please stop!!! Jason's narrator is good, but Joshua Swanson is better. STOP MESSING IT UP. I will NOT be repurchasing the other books. I'd rather read it myself to my kids.

Historia
Tucker is a streetwise city mouse. He thought he'd seen it all. But he's never met a cricket before, which really isn't surprising, because, along with his friend Harry Cat, Tucker lives in the very heart of New York City—the Times Square subway station. Chester Cricket never intended to leave his Connecticut meadow. He'd be there still if he hadn't followed the entrancing aroma of liverwurst right into someone's picnic basket. Now, like any tourist in the city, he wants to look around. And he could not have found two better guides—and friends—than Tucker and Harry.

Is this really the end?
Revisado: 03-26-22
As always I just loved rhis book. People said it was too long and repeated things, but that is needed in case this is the first book that someone reads. If they do then they will have to go back to the beginning and have a good adventure.
Thank you Davina Porter for such a great job storytelling and making the characters come alive.

Good plot, but hard to listen to.
Revisado: 06-10-21
i liked the storyline and the plot, but I couldn't get past the narrators lack of proper pausing and inflections. It was very distracting and made the story line hard to follow. Why did he keep calling her HONEY, all the time? I kept yelling "stop calling her honey!". It was used inappropriately, too much and even after he dejected her. One last thing, an author is supposed to be descriptive, but too much is too much! Describe the scene and what is happening, dont just pepper in descriptors when not needed. "Her eyes were erect"? What?

A good try. Although the author had some bright moments in this book, it was very disjointed and not smooth. One good thing is that it was short. sorry.

Elton's story is humble, funny and tragic all rolled into one. Taron Egerton is the BEST at reading and performing his words. He's not just reading, he IS Elton telling his story like he is right next to you with a pint or a Vodka Martini. BRILLIANT.

Born in Yemen and raised in Ireland, Wales, and postwar England, he lost his mother at the age of six. The epic and highly anticipated conclusion to the listener-favorite series that had countless Audible listeners (and employees) hooked from the very first Bob - featuring, as always, a flawless performance from the inimitable Ray Porter. Being a sentient spaceship really should be more fun. But after spreading out through space for almost a century, Bob and his clones just can't stay out of trouble. They've created enough colonies so humanity shouldn't go extinct.
