I love CL books, but omg the narrator has a sing songy tone that grates my nerves. I couldn't finish listening and opted on buying the book to finish.
The entire book it's like the narrator is singing the sentences like an individual verse in one big long song 😑

I truly keep my 5* for the OUTSTANDING book/reader combos only. That being said, my 4* are for the greats....and this is DEF one of them!
It's a fantastic story, a fantastic reader, it kept me up all night and then I wanted to hear it all over again in case I missed something.
I fully recommend this one, credit or no credit, I would totally get it!

Loved it. Loved it.
Normally books that include my culture (I'm Puerto Rican) don't really depict a "real" picture of a traditional big family, but this author did a great job in researching and the narrator did great at getting the pronunciation correct.

Oh, where to start. I lost sleep over this book, wanting to finish it. But I spent the whole night wanting to punch Emmy in the face repeatedly. It truly is some type of torture, painful but realistic and written nicely. Thus the love/hate thing.
At the very end she FINALLY sees the writing on the wall, and that's when my alarm rang.
I can't believe I've lost a whole nights sleep over this one :/

It is one of those that you literally laugh out loud. Caroline and her girls are funny, Simon is intriguing {to say the very least}, Mr.Clive behaves like a human. . . etc etc.

Head over heals in love with this series...only a couple issues:
1. Too many similarities between the first two books (but then again it IS a series)
2. You got to wait too long in between books
But besides that, it has just the right mix of lust, intrigue, narration, story line to keep one listening till its done. Gets my 5* approval!
I would purchase and/or use a credit on this in a heartbeat.
Can't wait for the next one...I'm guessing its nick and shaia's story <3

Although the narration wasn't my fave, I still managed to listen to it in one work day.
A strong story with some really good laughs in between ....and what a lovely family *sigh*...
Totally worth the credit on this book and will def continue spending credits on the next ones.

Sometime in the beginning the SEALS gets confused with the Marines and I'm pretty sure they're completely different branches. But overall it was a great listen to. The narrator was ok, didn't make it great but it could be worse.

There's no explanation to how fantastic this book is.
Although the paranormal is not my first choice, this book is a must have / must read....many times.
The story and the performance are phenomenal. The sex is enveloping. The characters are strong and distinct. Hopefully the rest of the pack is this good =)
Credit: my $10 rule overcame the use of my credit HOWEVER, I would gladly have spent the credit on this one.
