Somewhat Confusing

I think I figured it out. The author likes to skip around. Normally this is fine, but a decision was apparently made that the narrator should not recite the chapter numbers. In the text-based book, a new chapter is a good indicator of a skip in context. However, in the audiobook, we are deprived of that cue, and it often takes a couple of paragraphs before we realize that we are in a totally new scenario.

I liked the book, but you really should indicate in the title that it is part one of a trilogy. Amazon does this on their site, but not Audible, and not the downloaded title. Because of this, I forgot that it was a trilogy (I downloaded the book months before I actually listened to it), and thus I was pretty disappointed when it suddenly ended, leaving several hanging plot threads.
BTW, I really loved the narration.
