Historia
Kelsey has lived most of her life in a shadow of suspicion, raised to see danger everywhere. Her mother hasn't set foot outside their front door in 17 years, since she escaped from her kidnappers with nothing but her attacker's baby growing inside her - Kelsey. Kelsey knows she's supposed to keep a low profile and stay off the grid for their protection, but that plan is shattered when her dramatic car accident and rescue by volunteer firefighter and classmate Ryan Baker sparks media coverage.

This has suspense and an awesome plot. I enjoyed the reading as well as the way the author told the story. The characters are well developed.

Rob and Brekka 4ever!
Revisado: 03-13-21
A lot of times I’m more harsh when it comes to military related stories. I am a Marine spouse. I have family in every branch. So the story needs to be believable. This one is. Rob was injured. He lost someone that meant the world to him. The author honors this situation. I enjoyed Rob’s story.
I also have been through a debilitating automobile accident. I wasn’t paralyzed but I suffered a few lifelong injuries. Brekka has to work through her accident and injury to be ok with herself. The relationship is then able to blossom into just what they both need.
I thought the voices were both done well.

Historia
James Fulton is not a nice man. His dad taught him to destroy things, and he enjoyed doing it. When he was kicked out of Harvard for cheating, he could have taken it as a wake up call. He didn't. Paisley finds joy in simple things: snow cones, roller skates, kids. She doesn't have an ambitious bone in her body, but her friends don't mind. She cheers them on when they're up and supports them when they're down. Everyone loves Paisley, and for good reason. She's always there when you need her. When Paisley and James meet at a friend’s wedding, no one expects sparks to fly.

Engaging story
Revisado: 03-12-21
Paisley and James are near the top of my favorites list for this series. I enjoyed the distinction in the voices because of the different languages in the story, sometimes that is not as well accomplished. But James' tone is almost how I heard it in my mind when I first read the book last year. And Paisley is very similar to what her dramatic is when reading. I enjoyed the listen, maybe mostly because I really like the story, but it was definitely worth the time.
The author does an impeccable job of making characters that are not every day people (because truly how many of us know a princess or a billionaire?) very relatable. I was hoping for the best for these two from the beginning. And they had to work through tough situations, but persevered. You won't regret having this, or any of the Finding Home books in your library.
