Wow - I love the Argeneau series - and basically everything Linsay Sands has ever written! This book turned out to be one of my favorites, though. The humor, especially the Scottish uncles, is really on point, and the narrator, Kit Swann, is as skilled as they come. Her comic timing and her rendering of the various Scottish voices and personalities had me laughing out loud, but still deeply involved in the story line. Thanks for a great book and performance!!!

I liked the character development, and the balance of fantasy, romance, and mystery with a bit of humor thrown in. Both plot and character development are enjoyable. Very good read by one of my favorite narrators!

Wow! Better and better with each book!

I was slow to start this series, fearful it might be a sort of slapstick equivalent. However, I’m finding it’s one of my favorites! Some laugh out loud moments, along with a great storyline, and enjoyable characters make each book more and more enjoyable. Humor is outlandish, but never falls flat. I love it!!!!

Interesting insight into a little known condition, and an engaging story read by one of my favorite narrators. I often choose new authors to try, and even genres, based upon a terrific narrator!

Hope it’s a series

I still love Shannon Maude’s humor, but I kept getting distracted from the audiobook. I think it’s because it’s the first of an intended series - and, you know, all the set up details. I miss the interplay of characters (in dialogue) that I bet is coming in the next books. It’s definitely worth a read, but would be best as the kick off to a series. I enjoyed the narrator, and that’s really critical for me!

Really engaging mystery series

I don’t normally read a lot of mysteries, but I’m binging this whole series. I love the character development, with a handful of close friends/family that carry through from book to book. There is also humor - and some really good DIY “tips.”

The narrator is staggeringly good. She’s great with the Maine accent and is convincing while fluidly transitioning from female to male and old to young!

Very good read! Be sure to start from the series beginning - not necessary, but worth doing.

What a great, fun read!

I love paranormal romance that strikes a balance between being funny (more witty than silly) and compelling. I literally laughed out loud, but still found myself holding my breath, wanting all to come out well for each of these lovable characters. Darynda is a master of this genre, and just a really good author. Lorelei does it all justice, and has the best comic timing! I love, love love this series!

I really like Kristan Higgins books, but this one has the best humorous element so far - without lacking deeper feelings. Loved it! Especially the dialog from”the eggs”😆
